Why is everyone doubting CGRS that he is only a content creator? He was CSGO, APEX, OVERWATCH, and PUBG pro player. he competed in every fps game at a high-level tournament. he has a lot of experience. Don't forget that he has 10 days to practice with his teammates. SO RESPECT HIM !!!

1. he is not playing in valorant tournament that much so its normal that people who didn't know him before might had some doubt.
2 he replacing an APAC VCT MVP so of course people think that PRX with something is the better choice.
3. valorant is 5 man team game, chemistry and synergy are very important, its normal that people doubting him because they didn't know if CGRS can blending/adapting well with his teammates or the other way around. at least with somethings its already proven.
4. people heard that CGRS had a very little/short time to practice together so most people might think there is not enough time
5. at least people are doubting him not hating him. he didn't do anything wrong tbh.
6. i can go on and on but lets agree on that CGRS are proved himself to many people that he is a good player indeed.
and the conclusion is he is doing pretty well with the rest of his team, of course maybe something can offering a better performance, but now many people like you said need to put respect on CGRS name.

they play a risky style which is great but sometimes it makes them throw rounds away. The strategy of theirs definitely has its pros and cons, they’re skilled enough to overwhelm most teams anyways though and everyone fears their crazy play style. I love it striking fear into their enemies 😂

Quick rundown how much prx got nerfed this master
Something not playing instantly remove 3 month worth of strat and gameplay playing together.
Changing strats from double duelist comp for some maps to needing to fit CGRS as initiator/sentinel instead + forsaken and davai need to change/adapt their role too
CGRS at best only have 2 weeks of grinding together with the team
Team morale is (probably) quite low at the start of the tournament because reason above
Mindfreak himself said that he doesnt expect them to win against NRG either
all of them said that its better for them to not set any expectation and just have fun since they arent at their full potential. they are surprised they make it this far lol

Crazy that the top 3 consists with 1 team each region.
If PRX wins the tournament, their placing will mirror the standings they have in their regions since EG placed 3rd in Americas, FNC placed 2nd in EMEA, and Paper Rex is 1st in APAC.

As a prx and nrg fan this was a tough game to watch. Pretty sure pearl was prx pick and it went ot but they still won then nrg’s map pick lotus nrg won 13-6 so it was looking tough for prx. Map 3 was also close 13-11 but prx proved the haters wrong. They say prx cant do anything without something and they dont have a proper igl since benkai is now benchkai. I see so many people saying prx is losing to drx and going to lose first round in lower bracket without something since prx was down 2-0 during apac but they reverse sweep. Fair play to prx despite the odds against them most of the time. Don’t doubt cgrs!

Sad to see any of the two teams lose. These two team are mostly the first seeded and the reason I kept watching VALORANT. (while OW kept disappointed me enough to left my long-time accounts)
Please respect the teams. They deserved to be the 3rd and 4th place at the moment. The performance they shown especially in some round already entertaining our spines and my nerves.
Obviously there are problems. All teams will need to polish and refine it to grow even more. Wish we see another performance from every team in LA. Cheers! 🎉
It's so nice how Paper Rex changes the team comps, to match the play style!! instead of a Chamber with 1 team ability, they used a Gekko with 4, they embrace Harbour's malleablewalls instead of Vipers set wall. Hopefully Pro Valorant becomes a playstyle thing and not an agent thing

Man, this game was INTENSE. I’m a big fan of PRX, but I’ve always known that Optic core was super consistent, and s0m was performing incredibly good for this Masters so I was honestly leaning towards a possible 1-2 towards NRG, but when that come back happened on Pearl, I was blown away. After Lotus, I was on the edge of my sit for Bind- it was such a close game for both teams.
As said in some comments, I was a bit worried about the lack of ‘something’ in Tokyo, and after that FNATIC game, I was honestly worried for PRX overall. However, CGRS truly stepped up when he had to and props to them making to top 3 when everyone had doubted them after the FNATIC game.
Although the possibility of the Grand Finals is not that great considering the performance from both EG & Fnatic, I can never predict when it comes to PRX these days. Hope everything works out for them, and if not in Masters Tokyo, in Champions LA 🙏🏼

Som is going to have absolute nightmares about that pearl ot clutch lost, that was just so devastating to watch. His mind litteraly got caught between wanting to peek CGRS or run for time nt tho.
I really hope he doesn't beat himself up too much over it. He played insanely well in this series overall and it would suck if he kept getting blamed for losing one clutch situation.
Also for peeking in a 4v3 situation in the last round on Bind. He played so well in the series but made crucial mistakes.
