    Ever thought about just putting clamps on it so it's like jumper cables so you can just hook up when you need it?

    So did you put 4 bolts on each jack bc the frame didnt see wide enough to do this. Also is it safe to put that many holes in the frame?

    I agree completely. These are two things you should do right away. They are not that expensive. We got caught in a storm in west Texas with 50 mph straight line winds, The Stabilizer jacks worked great.
    There is one more thing I would add to the upgrade first list for the 17B- Stare Tire.

      Yeah a spare is a definite, ours fortunately came with one but ours was a 2020 model.

    • @funinourrv
      @funinourrv 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow. I didn't know when they stopped including spares. The current industry standard for smaller RVs like the 17B or 17R is to not include one. This makes no sense to me.

    Hello new subscriber, I am interested in the generator stand I just bought the same travel trailer. How much is it and I live in San Diego California what’s the shipping time ?

    • @SmallFamilyBigDreams
      @SmallFamilyBigDreams  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been selling them for $225 and shipping usually runs $50. I don't have any built as of now plus I'm trying to find someone to powder coat them for me. It would probably be 2 weeks or so before I can get it shipped. I do have 2 others that I'm going to start on soon in the next day or so.

    Extra question: Not on you topic, I have the same brand and series. Do you have the side AC unit? If you do, have you had issues with it leaking into the coach? It was initially, leaking under warranty and they said the AC condensation pan was installed upside down. Supposedly, solved it, but of course after using it months later, now leaks in a different spot, but still inside the coach. Of course the warranty is over. Thanks for your videos. I’m putting in a window and I’m using your video directions. Alittle different position near the bed and upper mid position. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

    • @SmallFamilyBigDreams
      @SmallFamilyBigDreams  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes ours did have a wall unit and I pulled the unit out and tipped the pan outwards as well as siliconed the inside corners of it. You might also need to check the weep holes on the outside at the bottom of the screen, they might be clogged with sealant or debris. Hope this helps.

      No we don't find them necessary anymore since these stabilizers do such a good job. We do however use one pyramid jack under the step to help with the flex of the step and any rocking that might happen, which is rare.

      @@SmallFamilyBigDreams does it come with screws etc or do we just reuse the ones in it now? We were thinking of using the window somewhere else in the trailer, do you think it would work in the door?

    • @SmallFamilyBigDreams
      @SmallFamilyBigDreams  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it did come with new screws but I also found that the old trim ring that is removed will need to be reused because my new one wasn't thick enough to cover the framing. As far as using it in the door I feel like it would be too big and would leave the door with not enough material around the sides and possibly crack the roof itself.
