Grinding pokemon for the elite 4 is tedious af. I'm super underlevelled with all the wrong kinds of pokemon. Went with what I like rather than what's best and I've them all the 30s early 50s but still getting creamed by lorelei. I've a Nidoking Snorlax Pikachu Articuno Machoke and Blastoise. How tf she wipes out my Pikachu with water type moves is a mystery 😂😂

QOTD: Lance because they gave his Dragonite the classic OP gen 1 noob set of Hyper Beam, Fire Blast, Blizzard, and Thunder.
meh, thunder would miss, Hyper beam recharges and isn't same type advantage, and ice attacks easily kill it
Yep you just need to land a solid blizzard or even ice beam.
1. Lorelei’s Pokémon: Dewgong, Cloyster, Slowbro, Jynx and Lapras
2. Bruno’s Pokémon: Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Onix and Machamp
3. Agatha’s Pokémon: Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Arbok and Gengar
4. Lance’s Pokémon: Gyarados, Dragonair, Dragonair, Aerodactyl and Dragonite
The Only Lance's Dragonite in Gen 1, that DOES NOT has illegal move: Barrier. (Like in Red Blue)

it was legal in gen 1 for it right? anyways any ice move was enough to easily kill it
The hyper beam animation was so good in gen 1. And Dragonite was awesome in gens 1-2 too, all you had to fear was ice moves

Man this game was legendary I remember playing this game everyday. When it was time to battle Lance this was always a tough one, I mean Blue was just as hard but Lance puts up quite a figh. But you always knew when it was time battle Dragonite it was time to put your game face on

I still remember the night I beat the elite 4, it felt specially challenging because you could only heal using items during battles, I don't remember any final boss battle from any other game to felt the same.

I first played pokemon yellow on special edition pikachu gameboy color when it first came out. Those were the days where they were challenging. No abilities such as static nor levitate.

Dude, how'd you get your Pokemon to such high levels? I'm at the elite 4 now and I'm pretty sure I've battled every trainer in the game. My Pikachu is level 68 (might have slightly overused him at points but tried to spread the action equally) I have a level 42 Pidgeot, level 45 Nidoking, level 40 Charizard, level 37 Blastoise and level 40 Venusaur. Can't get past Lance! Did you just grind against wild Pokemon? I've searched everywhere and I can't find anymore trainer battles. I've also only got like 7k left of money because I kept losing so I can't even stock up on potions, etc. Am I going to have to spend like 4 days battling wild Pokemon? Haha.

7:20 What’s brutal about the first generation is that for moves that hit more than once at a time, if the first hit is a critical hit then each following hit is a critical hit as well!
That and what absolutely kills me is getting hit with “Fury Attack” and the opponent hits you 5 times their turn, then when I use it on my turn the opponent only receives 2 or 3 hits.
Out of Lorelei, Bruno and Agatha, there is one that I am not too fond of but I skip to that battle just so I can hear the chamber music. That being...........

I made a mistake of leveling up one pokemon and i failed on the last one

Hey, I need some advice. My current team are on level 50s (Hypo is level 49) and I would like to know would I be okay with these Pokémon I'll be using to fight against the Elite 4 and Blue.

i remeber leveling my zapdos to lvl 99 one shoted them all in my first play throught and the rocks came. would of had a perfect run is i only leveled up a water pokemon :(

Back then Clefable,Articuno,Nidoqueen,Charizard could easily get 1HKO on their Special attacks so…

You should use Charizard, because this Pokémon is a Fire/Flying type. So that means that Fighting are weak against Flying, Fairy and Psychic...

Blastoise did really good against Agatha’s team, it appeared that only the same-leveled Gengar really stood a chance!
I spent too many hours trying to lvl up a Lapras so that i can defeat Lance only to find out i need to beat the Rival after that --' Also wasted the Thunderbolt TM on my Pikachu and it would be alot more usefull on my Lapras now.

Lapras L40
Moltres L50 (useless)
Kadabra L54
Charizard L54
Pikachu L31

Why you have a Moltress if you already have a Charizard. Don't bother with Grass type, you can overcome their type advantages with others (Such as Ice, ground and electric). Grass is terrible in this game.
@@faritop flareon sucked as a fire type until gen 4 because of garbagr special attack, it has giant special defence and attack, but fire was a special type until gen 4, and moltres is much better than charizard due to having better stats and actual flying type moves
Yea Pikachu learns Thunderbolt at level 26.

also never understood why the game will confuse u with confuse ray and then use confuse ray literally the very next turn....u can only confuse somebody once why the hell would u use that move 2 or 3 times in a row...thats gotta be a glitch in the game. some kind of fuck up
