- Backdraft RT3 Roadster #1124 Initial Drive. Completed by Vintage Motorsports in North Haven, CT. Finished in Indigo Blue with White Stripes this Roadster features a Roushcharged Coyote 5.0 engine serial number 4. VMS worked closely with Roush to engineer this engine configuration. Power exceeds 600HP. This is a short video with more to follow. During the test drive 2/3 throttle was never reached, there is literally too much power to use in such a lightweight vehicle. It is not the power output itself but also how the power comes on. The final drive ratio is 3.91 allowing the Coyote engine to spool up very quickly. Vintage Motorsports, working with our customers, is proud to be the leading independent final installer for Backdraft Racing RT3 Roadsters. www.vintagemotorsports.com Toll Free: 888.427.1965
I hope you are thrilled too... amazing car, an unforgettable drive.
She sure sounds good! And really fast too!
Very nice. It seems to me like it could could use either another gear or the final drive ratio could be dropped for some lower rpm cruising or maybe you were just running in 4th? Beautiful roads up there that don't seem to be too crowded too. Thanks for the ride along. It would have been nice to do a quick walk around so we get a nice view of what we are riding in today.
sweet sweet cobra dude , love that crown vic too 2:27

About how much do the backdraft rt3 kits weigh when they are assembled with a drivetrain?
2400 - 2600 lbs.
Which motor does you think is best for the Cobra, 5.0 or the 427 ?
Both excellent options
@@dansteiner9393 427 just sounds way cooler to me at least.
What state is this?
CT
can.... can it be my car too?
Definitly it is impossible to enjoy on US roads ! So boring, just 1/3 of gear.
