In our school days we studied it in third standard Before it we were made to by heart the multiplication table . For us it never takes this much time One more thing The line and curve here we draw for sqare root For division we draw the line one straight line below the number having an arm a segment attaches in front of it just like the capital L in reverse condition. We never wrote calculation step wise what is this ?
