Matthew 25:26-30 NKJV [26] “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. [27] So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. [28] Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. [29] ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. [30] And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ The lazy one clearly receives hell as reward according to the Bible. Please guys don't be a lazy servant. Do what God called you for. Please in Jesus Name
Because in Heaven there is a place called outer darkness. It's a place for believers who did not fulfill their calling even though they made it to Heaven because of Salvation.
Where in the Bible does it say that the outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth is on the outskirts of heaven? Do we believe in purgatory now? Heaven is heaven and hell is hell. Heaven is being present with the Lord, how can there be weeping and gnashing of teeth in Heaven? There cant. Maybe at the throne of judgement and/or in hell.
Notice what John points out is that he didn’t know the character of the Master. You have no relationship with someone that you don’t know their character. That’s a given if you’re actually in relationship with a person. The Lord makes it very clear that a relationship is the prerequisite to being able to enter in to the Kingdom of Heaven, and you cannot function in your calling if you don’t know the Caller, so it does reallly play out correctly.
5:03-5:40 He said before this part that he wants us to see how valuable the gifts from God are which is why he’s using it but he further explains in the highlighted clip I included he doesn’t want us to think money
Even the devils believe. Faith is different from just belief. Faith comes with works that affirm the faith and faith brings change that causes us to gravitate closer and closer to the Lord and His likeness. Plenty of people believe but haven’t accepted Him into their heart and placed him above all to where their sin is rooted out and they are changed.

If a talent is like a gift, why not just think of it as that, instead of money?

Believer does not mean saved. They just believe but they don’t follow.
