Sheesh! I never knew this existed! I know it's pretty common for "dance cover" groups all over the world to mimic K-pop dances (and Stell and Josh were in SE-EON, a K-pop dance cover crew), so I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised. I agree that girl-Ken was a total revelation! 🤩
I think this was their pre-debut. Not sure though. They also have a dance practice of BOOM BOOM by MOMOLAND. And Ken also delivered so well. He's into character. Very talented and flexible. Thank you for this one. Try to check SINONG BIDA EP2. ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. That was chaotic and hilarious. So much fun and laughter in the whole episode😅 😅.
This girl group covers always part of Kpop Idols during their debut and practices. I don't actually sure why but I guess 1. They are following Company's PR 2. To cater what audience or Fans wants because it's fun. 3. To get rid of their shyness during performances, if they can pull it off regardless the Genre and gender 4. To make their bodies more fluid and flexible. That's their routine. Even Korean idols do it. All the time. 5. To train their minds in memorizing steps to avoid mistakes during performances. 6. To know their body more and for muscle memory
They do a lot of covers esp on their early days when don't have many original songs yet. They do covers of BTS, EXO and BigBang songs and other Korean songs
4:40 I suggest watching and reacting to "Tnt Boys" during their time in the Philippine show " Your face sounds familiar". If being able to become different singers and be accurate in their depiction from dancing, costume and of course singing, then these boys are near pinnacle. They are phenomenal in their cameleonic capabilities to being the whole package. Not only costumes, choreographies but the phenomena of manipulation of voices becoming heavy hitters in various genres, musical eras including divas! A must watch! It will be jaw dropping reactions.
