My favorite memory is when we brought our son to Disneyland at Christmas for the first time and he danced and twirled around in the falling snow by the castle . Every time we are there at the holidays and we’re watching the castle light up I always think back to that moment .
Congratulations Victoria you have won the Disney Gingerbread Popcorn bucket! Please Dm us at our official Magic Journeys instagram so that we could can send you your bucket! Thanks for watching and congrats! 🎉✨🎄
My favorite memory is when my Dad surprised me with a trip to Disneyland on my 16th birthday.... December 11th! It was Christmastime and it was magical! He passed away last month and Disneyland held a special place in his heart too!!! Love you Dad!
My favorite memory is when I surprised my mom by taking her to Disnyland and making her wish come true and meeting her favorite carácter that is Donald Duck she had lots of fun and she had the time of her life before she passed a great big hug all the way to heaven!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm so sorry for your loss. Disneyland was a special place for my mom and me. She passed away almost 20 years ago, and the holidays are always tough. Take care of yourself. 😊
I lost my Dad in January, and we had so many great memories together in Disneyland. It was literally our last trip together in December 2023. I miss him every day, and I wish you and your family nothing but love.
My Moms birthday is the 11th. Lost her a few years ago. We lived in Seattle but were APs and would go several times a year. One year went all out and did every holiday tour/upgrade etc and got front row seats to see this parade. The Magic isnt the same without her. Also now in Florida and the Holidays at WDW are bleak.
My favorite Christmas memory was when my Dad surprised me with the best Christmas ever in 1966. My mom had passed away a few days after Thanksgiving and her funeral was December 3rd. He not only got my new tech devices of that year, like a reel to reel recorder, but a new bike, a hostess buffet, new clothes and a feast with family and dear friends 🧡 What a great father, now a single Dad faced with raising a daughter on his own. No longer with us I will always remember his many sacrifices and love. Merry Christmas everyone!! Peace, Joy, Love to all ❤
Opening presents with my family last year, knowing that it was going to be my little sisters last Christmas since she was battling stage 4 cancer. She passed two months later, but the photos of us as all together smiling and laughing was heartwarming 🤍
One of my favorite memories was when I was 9 years old, my mom, a single parent working hard to make ends meet, always did her best to make Christmas special even if it wasn't extravagant. Most years we'd have one or two gifts under the tree and that was more than enough. One Christmas morning she told me to shower and get dressed without explaining why. I had no idea what was going on.. to my surprise she took me to Disneyland I had always dreamed of going this was my first time. Growing up this was such a luxury and it meant the world to me to share that with my mom it was magical, unforgettable and sparked my love for Disney now at 26, Disneyland still, holds a special place in my heart all thanks to that incredible Christmas day. (It's still a Christmas tradition to go to Disneyland every year on Christmas. Except I pay for my mom now that i'm older)
Favorite Holiday Memory.... Being a single mom, I couldn't afford much. Our Christmas tradition when my daughters were younger, was picking up some Starbucks and driving around looking at Christmas lights. My daughters are now in their early 20s and we still try to do this every year. 😊💕
One of my favorite Christmas memories happened back in 2018. My dad had cancer and it had been a very difficult year for our family. My mom and I as APs didn't have many trips to the parks that year but took a day in December to get away and enjoy the festivities and the joys of the season. We were at DCA and went to see Santa. I think he saw the pain on our faces. When he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said I just wanted to have a blessed and wonderful Christmas with my dad and told him I prayed he would make it to celebrate Christmas with us. Santa gave me a hug and knowingly said that we would have the best Christmas and my dad would be right there. Indeed, my dad made it to Christmas and enjoyed his final time with the entire family as he passed only a few days later. My mom and I will never forget the compassion shown by Santa and also the moments he spent with us caught on film by the photopass photographer. We were thankful for those moments and also all of the final days spent with my incredible dad. We took comfort in knowing he went to be with God but stayed to help us celebrate one last Christmas together. God bless you all and may you have many wonderful Christmas memories together!! Cherish them all! ❤🙏
My favorite Christmas memory was when I was 7 I used to Live in Mexico, my family never had money to buy us presents ,but one day my tia who lives in Texas went to visit us on Christmas day and brought so many presents for me and my siblings. I remember we were so happy! especially with a bicycle that she got for us! It was so special and I still thank her every day for that💗💗
My favorite Christmas memory is coming back from Midnight Mass and my Dad would make us wait outside for a minute to check and “make sure Santa stopped by,” then proceeded to let us in after he had placed our gifts under the tree. ♥️💚♥️💚 The efforts my parents made to keep the magic alive will forever be appreciated. 🥰
My favorite holiday memory is decorating the CHRISTmas tree, baking cookies and watching movies with my parents. They’ve passed away but, I still share these festive events with my own children, knowing my parents are always with us in spirit. Merry CHRISTmas Magic Journeys ♥️🎄🎁
My favorite Christmas memory is watching my kids, nieces and nephews all wrapped up in sleeping bags and blankets sleeping around the Christmas tree waiting for Santa as I did with my cousins when were young. Traditions from one generation to the next is a beautiful thing
23:21 Respectfully, thank you for this short glimpse. That's really what this season is all about. That look of pure joy and excitement on Janelle's face says it all. I believe it may have been the "Magic Happens" parade for me when a youngster standing behind us with her grandparents said she wasn't really able to see anything. Knowing that the little gal would not be a trouble to me wasn't so much the issue. I knew we had our Magic Keys, and I was happy to view the parade at a later time. A compromise was reached as the grandparents insisted that we not miss our chance to view the parade and, for at least the kiddo, Christmas came early that year. I have no kids of my own, but seeing this little lady peek up and over her shoulder at the "stranger" who let her "take his spot", tears of joy in her eyes and beaming with excitement is when I first realized that "Disney Magic" is a real thing. I don't know if I'll ever see that family again, but I can only hope that the gal got a "core memory day" that trip. Seeing it again here for both of you is such a treat. Happy holidays to you.
Thank you for spreading the holiday joy. It is a great journey to go along with you two. I have a special memory to share. I am a single parent. Oh so long ago I had a hard time providing for my daughter despite working. I was grateful to have a car that we both could live in. During this time we discovered other houseless families and with them we would share whatever food or neccessities we had. I was able to find a apartment right before Thanksgiving. My daughter was amazed and excited to decorate for the holidays. My daughter pointed out what about the other families during the holidays? I told her our place was to small to bring in everyone. So we ended up drivinng around to deliver food and gifts to the kids of the families we knew then parking overnight to sleep next to our favorite family that took care of us when we lived in our car.
My favorite memory hasn’t happened yet. Watching the holiday parade as a child was a special holiday experience for me that I have always treasured. Getting to experience the holiday parade at Disneyland with my own children still brings happy tears to my eyes. They are young adults now, and our annual visits as a family have been hindered by adult schedules and responsibilities. The annual visits continue with our adult special needs daughter and I, who still delights in the Christmas magic in the parks. But one day, God willing, I will share the holiday magic with my grandchildren and get the whole family together again for a special Christmas trip!
Fav memory has to be going to disneyland during the holidays and taking my grandparents for the first time, it was so magical that they became little ones again the joy on their faces is absolutely priceless 🤍
I’m 56 and my favourite memory of Christmas is visiting my Grandparents for tea on Christmas Day, they always made it magical. The food, the music, the Christmas trees. They used to have an extra tree in the front room with little packages on it and we used to draw a number from a bag and we got the parcel with the matching number. These presents were only tiny things like a wind up hopping rabbit or a small puzzle but they were special to me. My Grandparents have been gone many years now but this memory I treasure and always will, I mess them still ❤
My favorite Disneyland holiday memory is watching my boyfriend experience a Disneyland Christmas for the first time. He never went to Disneyland as a child. His first Disneyland experience was in 2014 and we have been taking Disney trips together ever since. Watching his facial expressions and happiness was heart warming.
When I was 7 we spent Christmas at Disneyland. It was my very first visit. It was freezing and rainy most of the day. But it didn’t even matter. It was the best Christmas ever. We saw the toy soldiers in the parade, Mickey and Minnie, and Santa. I also got a Cabbage Patch doll. The year was 1986! Thank You Magic Journeys for bringing back Magical Disney Memories.
My FAVORITE holiday memory is having a Posada at my Tia’s house every year on Christmas Eve…unfortunately she passed away recently and Christmas has never quite been the same but, I will ALWAYS have those memories at her house on Christmas Eve ❤
The best memory will always be my dad who tries his best to always bring holiday joy & decorations to all of my family. He couldn't afford much, but he always made sure to bring the christmas spirit home. Indoor christmas lights & a simple christmas tree is his way of showing that we don't need to go all out, as long as we try our best & family is together, that is the greatest joy to have.
My favorite holiday memory was recently - in fact this same time frame you two made this video. We went to Disneyland with my wife’s two 80 year old grandparents (they said this will be their last trip to the Disney parks); so we went with them and our two sons and had a blast.
My favorite holiday memory is definitely when I first saw the fireworks at Disneyland during the Holliday season. I was going through a rough patch in life because of constant stressors at college and just life in general, so I really needed a break. I spent the entire day with my Mom and my brothers. I never felt such a high level of relief and extreme joy. but as the night came to an end and we viewed the firework show, I remember being so emotional. The bittersweet feeling I got of such a well needed day with people I love, in the middle of the show, I just bawled. It was the first time in a while I actually cried tears of joy. Being surrounded by family and the magic of the park, it created a moment of pure happiness that I’ll truly never forget!
My favorite memory was my cousins and I having a sleepover when we heard something on the roof. It could’ve been a tree or something but it was so magical to feel the spirit of Santa while surrounded by family
My favorite Christmas memory : watching my dad place the Christmas tree up and my whole family decorating the tree listening to Christmas music oldies like Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis.
My favorite holiday memory was with my kids at Disneyland, being on Main Street, watching the fireworks at the end of our day, and then watching the snoap coming down, and that was our first time seeing snoap it was so fun to watch it fall and bringing us so much joy! That was when my kids were 13 and 7 years old, now they’re 22 and 28! Still our favorite time to visit the park, now hoping to share the same excitement with my first grandbaby. It’s truly a magical time of the year.
One of my favorite memories would when I was in a really rough spot when I was 16 due to having to live on my own, my boyfriend (and my now husband, we've been together for 11 years and married for 2) and his mother and step-father celebrated Christmas time with me. They helped me get on my feet and let me stay at their house for a while during this time. We decorated the tree and put up lights and on Christmas Day they we even shared small gifts and had a big Christmas dinner. It's a memory I will never forget because they have helped me through so much throughout my life and I will never forget the little bit of peace and serenity I had during that rough year when I was 16. Real family doesn't always mean the people you are related to :)
Favorite memory holiday is being a single Dad, I went with my 2 daughters to Disneyland back in 08 and due to the bad economy it was hard to afford at the time let alone purchase gifts for the kids. However when in one of the stores, one of the employees who now I think was probably a Manager decided to buy each of my daughters these two outfits and toys that they wanted so bad. It really made our day and to get something free like that for the kids was an amazing time.
One of my favorite memories is taking my 4 year old niece to Mickey’s very merry Christmas party. During the parade she looked at me and asked if she was dreaming. Instant tears!
My Grandmother's home before she passed was where 4 generations of my family would all meet, greet, and eat on Christmas. I miss her every day, but I am so thankful for the memories. She was definitely a maker of Magic Journeys. I do my best to spread the same love in her honor. Happy Holidays, you two.
One of my best Disneyland memories was taking my first born son to disney when he was 1.5 years old. The enjoyment in his face and how he ran through the parks with excitement was priceless. To the parents that say it's not worth it because he won't remember, trust me when I say, it's a memory you'll make for yourself, and it's worth every penny!
It’s not a memory yet, but this is going to be my first holiday season as a mom and I know it’s going to be so magical to take all of my favorite holiday memories and stack them up to continue the magic of the holidays for my son 🤍
Watching the fireworks & then it starting to snow always make me sad and yet somehow happy, many years ago in the late 90's I went to Disneyland with one of my best friends, just the two of us and that night when snow started, it was one of the happiest nights & times in my life. I truly miss her after all these years.
My favorite holiday memory was when my husband planned a trip down to Disney for us and then proposed to me in Disneyland in front of the wishing well. It’s such a special place for us now! We hope to take our two little guys once they get a little older. Thanks for another great video guys!
We were reminiscing on our favorite memory as we watched! We took our son for his first Christmas to Disneyland. He was so grumpy as we took pictures…until he got to sit with Santa. Santa was amazing and we got all the smiles. Disney is definitely our happy place.
My favourite holiday memory is after years of growing up in Australia, finally having my first white Christmas when I was in Philly. As a child we are shown so much American media so it was very “out of a movie” for me and now with my own little newborn daughter, I can’t wait to show her the world and make the same holiday memories together ❤
❤My favorite Christmas memory was decorating the house and Christmas tree with my whole family while Christmas music plays in the background. We’d bake cookies and drink hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies together. Now I’m a mother of 3 toddlers and will be keeping that same Christmas tradition with them 💚
My favorite Christmas memory has to be last year, my daughter just turned one. We took her for her first time to Disneyland. her face no words can describe how happy she looked. Even though she's so little and won't remember, she enjoyed all the lights and the little bit of rides that we took her on. I will forever cherish those beautiful moments. ❄️❄️🎄🎄🎆🎇
My favorite memory was how magical my grandparents made xmas feel when I was younger. My grandma would fill her tree with Disney ornaments and it's something we connected with. Till this day she's obsessed with Disney and I love it so much ❤
My favorite memory is last year❣️ I was able to be at Disneyland with all my daughters, son in laws and grand babies…I’ll never tire of that memory. It was ✨ magical ✨
Our favorite holiday memory of all time was spending time in the hospital trying to deliver my oldest son. He held on till Christmas Eve and ever since it was a forever gift that I get to cherish❤
One of my favorite holiday memories is taking my parents to blue bayou after they hadn't been to Disneyland in maybe 15 years in 2022. I lost my dad in September this year and we just came up on the anniversary of that holiday Disney trip two years ago. He also loved watching Magic Journeys with my mom and me, planning out what we were going to eat next time we went to the parks. Thanks for always being such a bright spot. We love you guys!
Love your videos. My favorite holiday memory, which happened to be at Disneyland, was when my husband proposed to me in front of the castle the day after Thanksgiving. It was so magical, and the parks were all decorated and magical. A memory that will stick with me forever.
My favorite Christmas memory is the year my husband proposed. It was a particularly challenging year and he wanted to make the holiday season extra special. He had everything meticulously planned…dinner with close friends, Christmas Light mini-golf, and looking at the lights and tree at the Town Hall building. I had absolutely no idea. He had secretly asked my parents’ permission, and my mom had given him a diamond that belonged to my grandmother. She went with him to pick out the setting. There, in front of the giant town Christmas tree, he got down on one knee. I was in shock, but in the best way. It was December 19, 2020. A wonderful way to end a terrible year. ❤ I know it’s not a Disney-related memory, but it is my favorite so far. We have both spent birthdays with Disney, so maybe someday we can also spend the holidays the same way. Thank you for your fun videos. Happy Holidays!
My favorite memory is actually our Christmas last year. We talked with our kids and all decided together that we’d rather make memories than get lots of things…so we took a Disney trip and had the most magical time. So magical in fact, that we are doing it again this year:) Can’t wait to be there again in a couple weeks! Love your content and the joy you bring to the world!
My favorite memory is last year my daughter who just turned 13 and I having the worst year ever, in August 2023 we were watching one of your videos and just decided to book a Trip for Christmas time and it was Amazing Mother Daughter trip we had together!!! We Love DL!!
My favorite Christmas memory was when my kids were younger, but just old enough to anticipate Christmas morning. I loved seeing them so excited, their hands trembling so much they could barely unwrap the presents. I miss seeing that level of pure excitement and joy.
My favorite xmas memory was two years ago when I got to host my family for the first time. It warmed my heart that my husband and I didn’t have to split between each side but enjoy everyone together!
My favorite Christmas memory as a child is leaving a note for "Santa" and getting a note back along with leaving cookies and carrots for him and his reindeer. It was such a cute memory growing up that my single mom did for her daughters. I love how magical it felt. 🎄
My favorite holiday memory is a Christmas Eve night I spent at my Grandma’s as a kid! My cousins had come to California from Finland and I was so excited to spend the morning with them that I couldn’t sleep for a long time. :’) I could hear all the grownups talking downstairs and trying not to laugh too loud, it made my heart warm.
My favorite memory was the November after 9/11. Even though the world was changed, the guests and cast members were so wonderful! We were all grateful to be together, and enjoying the park! And it was the first year of Haunted Mansion Holiday!
My favorite Christmas memory is my mom would buy us a Christmas ornament each year so when we move out we would not have an empty tree. I love looking back at all the memories each ornament brings. And now I do the same tradition with my own kids.
I lost my grandmother in June of 23 a few days shy of hers and my mothers birthday. I felt so horrible that we hadn’t been able to celebrate, nor were we in the mindset for it. I didn’t even have a gift so I told my mom I’d take her on a trip to Disneyland for Christmas to make up for it. We had never been for the holidays and I knew the year would end sadly with my grandmothers recent passing. My mom and I hold Disney as a special place we took girls trips to but hadn’t returned since my grandma became ill or since before the pandemic. Grown up 33 year old me and my parents went for Christmas that year. Just them and I… it was so special and i felt like a child all over again with them by my side having so much fun. We didn’t get to go this year but the memories are everything! Can’t wait to go back again! The entire trip was memorable and such a heart warmer for us during our grief. It definitely made the season brighter.
My favorite holiday memory was my dad dressing up as Santa and tricking his own grandkids who didn’t recognize that it was him. My dad was the BEST Santa. I miss him so much during the holidays.
My favorite memory was when my mom who was a single parent at the time bought me a puppy for my birthday. I suffer from depression and was having a hard time at school, always wanted a puppy but never thought I’d get one. To this day, that has been my favorite memory, it was the one gift that got me through some tough times!
My favorite Holiday memory is with my Grandma Socorro setting up her Nativity scene. this was an all day endevor and her statues were 12 in. tall!!! We set this up on a pic nic table in front of her living room window. Fake grass, large farm animals and houses were required to finish the snow covered scene. Cause everyone know, there wqas 2 in of snow on the ground in Bethlehem!!! When we were done putting 5,000 empty boxes back in the cellar we could have conchas and choporado my Grandpa Victor had made over the last 10 hours it took us to put this gorgeious display up. thank you for allowing me to bring that up and share it. I love your chemistry thank you for all you do to keep our joy aflame
My fave holiday memory was coming home from delivering my youngest child, just in time to still make Christmas magic for the rest of my family. I rushed to do some holiday baking and wrapped a few presents but nothing beat having the newest member of the family coming home just in time to spend the holiday all together.
My favorite memory was buying the musical popcorn tin from Disneyland, bringing it home and then discovering it played the Christmas Fantasy parade song!! It was so magical and brought us right back to that moment.
My favorite memory of Christmas was when I was a kid, my dad and my mom would put the Christmas tree up, bake cookies and listen to Christmas carols. My dad passed away years ago and it’s something that I will miss forever! Your videos make my family and I so happy, makes us feel so close to Disneyland which is holds such a special place in our hearts! 💕❤️
My favorite holiday memories are spending time with my Mom, making holiday treats to share with friends and family. I then carried that tradition over with my children, and now my grandchildren! ❤❤❤
My favorite Disneyland memory was going to the parks with my mom during the holidays and eating all the snacks! We used to go every single year during Thanksgiving break for Christmas, But unfortunately, this is our first year, not going because our beautiful mom lost her battle to liver cancer. Our family misses her so much and Disneyland will never be the same without her. We hope to one day be able to go back and Make new memories. We miss her so much and I would love to Have something from this holiday season to put in our home. My family loves watching you guys! ❤️
My most favorite holiday memory is hoesntly experiencing the holidays as a child. Everything felt so magical and whimsical always. I love visiting Disney during the Christmas holiday because it takes me back to being a kid and that feeling truly priceless 😭❤️
Hi Janell & Miguel! So my favorite memory is when my mom & dad to me to Disneyland when I was little. They woke me up super early in the morning & we drove from San Diego. They never told me where we were going. We just drove up & I was so super happy & overjoyed! They bought me a Tigger stuffed animal to take home. That's my favorite memory. Thx so much for sharing your time at Disney!!
My favorite Christmas memory is decorating my house with my family! Remember doing it when I was growing up. Did it with my kids when they were growing up. They helped us today finish outside with our Disney mini wonderland! My kids are both in college and to watch them on the roof today…priceless!
Always love your videos. My favorite Christmas memory is every Christmas Eve our mom had us kids each read a verse from the Bible of Jesus birth and pass the Bible around the table each one of us reading a verse. Then we would sing happy birthday to Jesus and blow out a candle on a cake. We carried on the tradition with my kids and now I’m in my 60’s and it is always a treasured memory.❤
I had a lot of happy Christmas memories as a kid, and so it’s my favorite holiday. Food, family. friends, singing, even caroling some years. As an adult things got a bit tighter, and making Christmas for a family is honestly a little stressful for me. Still, every year has it’s own magic. Even 2022 when my husband and I had covid and spent a whole week quietly on our own it was lovely. The year my dad was declining was the best ever though. He wasn’t thinking clearly, but he was pitching in, trying so sincerely to blow the little horn that came out of his musical Christmas cracker at the right moment for the song. (We never did crackers before, but found an old gift box in the garage.) My stepmom had lights & garlands all over, she really did it up that year in a way she hadn’t for a very long time. He left us that January, the sweetest dad possible. Love and memories are for always. Ok, wrote this before the end of the vlog, & don’t need a, sweet as it is, gingerbread house :) SO many lovely stories here! Every year I can mark a moment I’m starting to feel Christmasy, and reading these comments has done it. Thanks to everyone! 🎄Have a blessed holiday all.
Thank you both for sharing your adventures! My favorite Christmas memory is when I was 7 and my grandma was still alive. Our whole family was together that whole week. 🤍🤍 things haven’t been the same without her.
One of my favorite Disney Christmas memories was watching the castle lighting ceremony for the first time. The music, the lights and the snoap at the end! I was so excited I exclaimed with happy tears, “It’s Snowing!” To this day my husband and my kids will remind of my reaction to that Disney moment. Although a bit embarrassing, I love that memory with all my heart. ❤ As always, love the video and thanks for sharing your Magic Journey with us!
My favorite memory is going to Disneyland during Christmas with my uncle, who was tragically taken from us in 2023. Holidays are still very hard! I am so blessed to have the memories with him. Goofy was his favorite!
One of my favorite holiday memories is every year when I was a little child, We would drive to Arizona from CA and visit our grandparents. Seeing them every Christmas was so magical. My grandma would make the best oatmeal cookies , so many wonderful memories. I miss them so much.
My best Christmas memory was actually just last year. I gave my 2 dogs the best Christmas ever. They had toys and snacks galore under the tree. I didn’t know it at the time but it would be my girl Phoebe’s last Christmas with me. She passed away a few weeks later unexpectedly. I am just so happy she was able to have one last Christmas blowout! I’ll always have the memories and videos of just how happy she was that day!!
My favorite memory is when I was a kid and watched all the Christmas special marathon from Disney Channel with my siblings all night long until morning! it was so much fun, I hope someday I can enjoy these special moments with my future family
The time I got a bike when I was 9 years old. That Christmas I had the worst ear infection ever. I’m pretty sure I was deaf in one ear, I could barely sleep all night but I did finally manage to get some rest and when I awoke my mom was in the kitchen pouring herself a cup of coffee as I was looking under the tree at the mountain of presents. She stood up a blue and pink bike with white tires. I was so excited. I could finally ride bikes with the neighborhood kids! Best Christmas ever!
My favorite Christmas memory was going to Disneyland with my parents, two brothers and my husband. My parents and older brother had not been to Disney since 2008. My youngest brother had never been there before. Seeing the happiness in their faces warmed my heart. It was my husband and I’s first Holidays at Disney as well. I cherish the memories we made on that trip and will never forget singing feliz navidad on Main Street after the fireworks with my family ❤
My favorite holiday memory is the Christmas Day our family of 4 spent together for the first time. My daughter was born on Christmas Eve and we asked the doctor to send us home the next morning so we could spend the Christmas at home together with our older son. I was exhausted but it was an amazing day I will remember forever❤ Thank you for an amazing video!!
My favorite Christmas memory was taking my 3 kiddos to Disneyland on Christmas for the first time . Their eyes couldn’t control the excitement ❤. I know have 4 and hopefully one day I can take the baby to make those special memories! We love you guys and your videos just make part of our family Sundays .
Last year my daughter and I experienced Disneyland at Christmas time for the first time together, and it was magical!! We share this favorite holiday memory together. We love you Magic Journeys!!
My favorite Christmas memory will always be of my Grandpa. I am one of 24 grandkids, and he wasn't able to buy us all a Christmas present. So every year, he would go to the dollar store and buy boxes of the chocolate covered cherries. He would wrap them up, put the gift tags on, and put them under the tree. My Grandpa's first language was Spanish, but he knew some English. Our favorite part was finding our present under the tree and checking to see how our names were spelled. He had his own unique way of spelling our names, but we loved it. This will be the 7th Christmas without him. I miss him every day. Thank you for allowing me to share my special memory with you.
One of my favorite memories was back about 12 years ago when I was 18/19 and I was working at Disneyland. I would work parades/fireworks a lot but I loved that every single night while I was working during Christmas, I getting to watch/hear the parades and the fireworks and it gave me chills almost every night. I’m grown up now and the same fireworks show and parade are used and I STILL get the chills and/or tear up whenever I get to visit during Christmastime and also when I watched this video 😂 I moved far from Disneyland so I’m missing it so much. Especially right now! ❤🎄🎅🏻
In 2021 I lost my little brother, my favorite person, and holidays have not been the same since. However, last year I was doing the Disney College Program in Florida and I was able to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the very first (and second, and third, and fourth...) time. Even though I was alone, the decor and music and snoap and all of the Disney magic brought me to happy tears. I was finally able to enjoy Christmastime again. That's my favorite holiday memory from the past few years
My favorite holiday memory was the first time my kids were old enough to embrace Santa and getting up that Christmas morning to gifts that Santa delivered. I still think about that every year as I decorate, those “kids” are adults now so it’s always bittersweet
My favorite memory was when I took my 2 daughters to Disney for Christmas for the first time and how much their faces lite up when we seen the snow after the firework show.. it was magical
My favorite Christmas memory is when my little one was old enough to experience the magic! Seeing her little face coming down stairs to the tree lit, the cookie eaten by Santa, the carrots eaten by the reindeer and the presents is just magical!
My favorite memory as a kid is when my granny would let us (all the grandkids) find the pickle in the Christmas tree. Who ever found the pickle first got to pick first and pick an ornament off her tree to keep. Also having Christmas music playing and family game night on Christmas Eve. Truly everything about the holidays is so special and magical. ❤
My favorite memory is piling in the car with my mom, dad, brother and sister and driving around looking at all the houses decorated with Christmas Lights! We do this now with my kids and even as teenagers they look forward to it. We wear our pajamas, grab blankets, make hot chocolate, popcorn and other snacks and pile in the car to go look at lights!!! It is soo much fun!!
My favorite memory is when I was able to take my daughter to Disneyland for Christmas time. It was mine and hers first time going for Christmas time and it was magical. A cast member friend made it even more magical for us and I am truly grateful for them!
One of my favorite Holiday memories was the year we got my son a giant 5 ft teddy bear for Christmas. He loved teddy bears. The look on his face Christmas morning when he opened it was pure joy, he ran and hugged his dad immediately afterwards. It was great!
My favorite memory was the first time I went to Disneyland with my (now husband) boyfriend. We spent 2 days and by hour one I knew I was going to marry him. We rode pretty much everything, and watched all the Christmas stuff. We rope dropped, and stayed until park closing both days. I still think about it a couple times a week, the Christmas joy and the love I have for him.
Favorite holiday memory was when my parents were too poor to buy me a Barbie doll.. . I wanted one so much but I also understood that they were pretty expensive and that it was either that or food on our table because my parents were agricultural pickers. Thanks to the community Christmas drive my mom was able to get a Barbie and I was the happiest girl EVER! 😢 I cried and I haven’t forgotten about all the sacrifices our parents and us as children have to go through to get to where we are now! Happy Holidays to everyone! May LOVE, HAPPINESS and BLESSINGS surround your HOME this season!
One of my favorite memories growing up was visiting an epic nativity display in my home town. It was HUGE, and incredibly well done. It looked real. And went all across the gentlemans property. We used to drive there as a family when we looked at Christmas lights. It was amazing.
My favorite memory was bringing my children to Disneyland when they were small and watching how amazed they were at the snow! They had never seen snow 42:49 before and they thought it was magic! ❤
One of many favorite Christmas memories was watching Home Alone with my Dad and watching him laugh as if it was his first time watching it every time. My Dad is the reason i love Disneyland, it was his happy place too, i lost him 4 years ago 😢
My favorite memory is definitely waking up on Christmas Day and playing with all our new toys with my siblings. It was a magical morning. And now I’m living it watching my daughter 🤍
That’s a special memory ❤
One of my favorite things to do too! Its the little things ❤
It was so special and I still thank her every day for that💗💗
jeanelle dressed for the holiday is everything for these vids way to go
My favorite Christmas memory is coming back from Midnight Mass and my Dad would make us wait outside for a minute to check and “make sure Santa stopped by,” then proceeded to let us in after he had placed our gifts under the tree.
My favorite memory is as a nurse making Christmas as special as we could for our hospitalized kiddos.
My favorite memory is listening to Christmas music while decorating and baking with my mom. I now do the tradition with my husband. ❤
Favorite memory was doing posadas all around the neighborhood! All the singing and festive mood just filled my heart ❤️
I know it’s not a Disney-related memory, but it is my favorite so far.
My favorite memory is last year my daughter who just turned 13 and I having the worst year ever, in August 2023 we were watching one of your videos and just decided to book a
Trip for Christmas time and it was Amazing Mother Daughter trip we had together!!!
My favorite Christmas memory was the first Christmas as family when my son was born. To see him looked at the decorations and lights with wonder.
As always, love the video and thanks for sharing your Magic Journey with us!
My favorite memory is going to Disneyland during Christmas with my uncle, who was tragically taken from us in 2023. Holidays are still very hard! I am so blessed to have the memories with him. Goofy was his favorite!
My favorite Christmas memory, I was 8 yrs old at my Grandma's house. We woke up to snow, the only time in my life. Built my 1st and only snowman.
My favorite memory is when my marching band marched at Disneyland back in the day during Christmas, 1979. So magical.
One of my favorite holiday memories is every year when I was a little child, We would drive to Arizona from CA and visit our grandparents. Seeing them every Christmas was so magical. My grandma would make the best oatmeal cookies , so many wonderful memories. I miss them so much.
My favorite Christmas memory is turning down all of the lights except our Christmas tree and watching the snow fall outside. So magical! 🎄❤️❄️
I was exhausted but it was an amazing day I will remember forever❤
Thank you for an amazing video!!
