Not enough money for now, next year will order one V3!!! And I can put all the parts of my Superfoxy on it!! Awesome!!! As a Bike Mech, I love how you guys bild everything!! Cable routing is the best!!!! Love you guys!!!!
DANKE Ruben!
@@raawmountainbikes While I'm looking out the window like a dog waiting for the mailman... what kind of grease do you recommend I order for the threads? The white stuff you're applying with the brush.
@@DieterVanHolder The white grease we use in the video is called 'Motorex White Grease'. The green grease is called 'Motorex Grease 2000'. The threads only need a little threadlocker.
It's true, we've tried them, but they don't hold the cables as well as cable ties. That's why we prefer cable ties. Only nine are used on a frame and are included in the contents of the frame.
How exactly do you set the dropper cable length before taking the frame out of the box? I thought you said a qualified mechanic needs to install parts.
Toller Aufbau, klasse Video. Mich würde mal interessieren ob es den Kettenstrebenschutz, angepasst, auch irgendwann für V2.2 geben wird, Wäre auf alle ne coole Sache
Motorex White Grease is slightly more water resistant. The green grease (Motorex Grease 2000) is a general purpose grease for assembly parts. We prefer the white grease for parts that are not often removed (like the headset and BB) and the green grease for parts that are more often removed (like the shock bolts). The green grease is also a little easier to clean.
I'm yet to see a bike build that shows a mechanic fitting tyres and sealant without a jump in the video - in this one the wheels just magically appear all fitted at 21:22!

I honestly hope that press rotates the bearings as it presses it in. Have you ever heard of brinelling or false brinelling? Kinda funny how you said "everything should be assembled by a qualified tech" right at the start. Seems not all are created equal. btw, nice frame

absolutely agree, but why so complicated.?they could have freed the bottle cage mount and put it on the upper tube, or on the sides. i dont know!!!! @@stuvademakaroner9607
XT cranks are not suitable on a bike like Madonna. I've already destroyed two 12S Shimano cranks--SLX and XT--they fail at the pedal insert, threads just come out. Was talking to fellow mechanics, it's a known issue. So it's not just the road cranks where Shimano is failing, and not admitting it.
Had the same things on SLX (not XT yet touch wood) and Deore level - seems to happen after a pedal strike which then loosens the pedal a little and then yep - pedal out, threads out. Fixed by inserting steel inserts (Unior).
@@dangermouseanpenfold same. Went with GX cranks and grinded the wide teeth on a sram chainring so the stupid Shimano quicklink wont bind, so far so good

Appreciate it!

This music so relaxing and at the same time this repetition drives you crazy.
You sure got the tools need for the job.

Nice build but why zipp ties for the cables/hoses. There are dedicated reuseable clips available.

Dankeschön! Beim Madonna V2.2 ist die Kabelführung anders und leider nicht so einfach zu ändern. Hierzu würde eine Kabelbinderbefestigung fehlen.

What is the difference between the white and green grease? Why is it used differently in the shown applications?

What did he do with the bolt on the loosen then tighten?
Would a copper based anti seize compound work instead of the lithium based?
Is there possibility of upcoming V4 ,V5,V6 and so on..?

btw, nice frame
Dropper insertion depth doesn't seem very convinsing even though seat tube is fairly short
This bike is a medium size with a short 420 mm seat tube and most people can use the 210mm One Up dropper. Sounds pretty convincing to us ;)
If I’m reading that right, thats a 180mm post, so plenty of room for 210mm at the same saddle height 🤷♂️
What type of greese is this? Is it suitable for bearing?

I wonder what would be the cost?
