@@thesecondeevee9754 Yeah, the damage down is only when you have negative coins and when you collect coins then, you work on "repaying the debt" and also getting rid of the damage down
I think the character gets A LOT better if you never press that dumb button that destroys your permanent defensive ring of flies for a tiny one-time burst of damage dealing flies.
Oh, and also getting insanely good items helped a lot too I guess.
Yeah, i mean the flies turn to attack when hit by projectiles anyway, unless you were super sure you had more hearts waiting for you afterwards, sending a parte chunk for a quick damage burst seems dangerous. (Unless you did that to avoid getting contact damage by something running at you of course)
How did he look into it and get no health when literally every source talks about limited soul hearts?
I think he was referring to how health ups didn't do anything for pre-buff Duke (which is what he's playing in this video)

@@maniacAblaze well cacophobia is the fear of ugliness, specifically of oneself to the point where they wrap themselves in bandages to hide themselves, so I guess the name makes sense cuz it's like she's the opposite of what she thinks herself to be, which usually is the case.

The Cacophobia boss is probably my favorite modded boss, it was fun to see Hutts find it.
Oh wow, Hutts actually managed to run into Cacophobia. He's really lucky that his run was so busted, because that boss is freaky as Hell. Probably one of the most unique bosses in the entire game though, modding scene included.

It hurt even more when he MENTIONED ROCK BOTTOM LETTING HIM TAKE STUFF
Rock bottom remembers stat downs so if you get a stats up it accounts for any stat downs you've gotten. I can see why he didn't take it
You do know that the damage down makes it harder to get more damage right?

Ah, I see you met with one of the more interesting Fiend Folio bosses... Cacophobia. It's definitely a different take on the usual boss fight.

Turning the boss enemies into playble characters is actually a fun and interesting Idea. Imagine playing as delirium and all the whacky stuff you could do with that.

It can still hurt the run. If Hutts gets any damage ups with the stat decrease of Dad's Wallet he will get less damage from any future damage ups

Sad that Hutts didn't realize Dad's Wallet's negative effect was completely negated due to Pog Bottom.

Yeah, the "jokey challenge" thing is true and it sucks. A lot of Isaac content is made for gags instead of being good or interesting. Fiend Folio in particular almost feels designed to laugh at you.

Ok Blue I get that every editor needs to have their own "style" but you are going a little too hard and frequent on the "dramatic/comedic" zoom in. It is like if you played a laugh track every couple of seconds.

Yes and no. The game sets you to your highest achieved damage, but it still tracks your real stats.
If you get a massive damage down like soy milk, and then use mega mush you won't get a crazy damage number because the mega mush isn't making your soy milk damage higher than your non soy milk damage.
Now, if you take them in reverse order, mega mush THEN soy milk, you get crazy damage.
@@bongosmcdongos4190 not to mention its multiplicative, meaning it will be EVEN HARDER to gain damage, harder than normal. I think that gaining money means you get out of debt though, so i think eventually he would be back to normal

I swear antibirth rock bottom used to bring you down to base stats, hence the name. That would in some cases make it less op, but I can understand why they changed it.
Yup, but it also didn't have the 'invisible' stat value (e.g. new_stat = max(current_stat, rock_bottom_stat)) that current Rock Bottom does.The name 'Rock Bottom' still kind of works with this version as the only way is up when you're at Rock Bottom, hence the effect of the item.
It was an all stats down in antibirth but it got buffed for whatever reason. Doesn't matter though it's op in both versions
