Chill Kill is definitely one of my personal favorite albums of all time. I loved the lore behind Chill Kill where Wendy kills their father to help her sisters/members escape. Apparently Chill Kill is the beginning of the Red Velvet lore.
This album is a masterpiece!!! I just love it. The whole concept and how they delivered...my gosh! These ladies!!! I was so obsessed with their release until Cosmic arrived! But for me, Chill Kill is their evolution of the velvet side and Cosmic, the red one.
Literally my AOTY of 2023 ! One of the best studio albums ever for me :) .... Even today I just throw it in a shuffle, to keep it new ! My fav b-sides from here are One Kiss, Wings, Underwater and Iced Coffee
Joy was originally the 2nd rapper after Irene. She was lead rapper and a sub vocalist but had since changed to lead vocal technically. Also when we all heard Wendy say in underwater “come lay your body on me” the first time we collectively lost it!

I love this album so much!!! like this whole album has a sort of dark vibe through each song! even after almost a year chill kill is still my favorite song from this album! and one kiss is an underrated gem😭💕 also seulgi during chill kill era was woah!! the concept pics for hers is still my favorite of hers
Fun fact: Seulgi recorded Underwater with the studio lights off lol PS. The Knock Knock and Underwater live performances were from their fancon which they're currently holding a tour for. Each member have their solo moments like aside from the JoyRene solos you've watched, Yeri did a dance intro for ICC, Wendy did bridge solo for So Good, and Seulgi did dance intro for Bad Boy. They literally just held the fancon in the Philippines 7 hours ago lol I couldn't watch tho since I had to sell my ticket jhjshjsahj
