love your videos! i'm planning on doing a ski season this year and Camp America next year, how did manage to go to the CA recruitment fair/apply for CA whilst doing a ski season - hope that makes sense!
To be honest I can’t really remember but I feel like it was about £700 a month but when you have interviews and when you get the job they should tell you or maybe ask 😀
@@lizzylovett824 awesome, thank you for the reply. I wanna do cheffing out there but wanna try at least make £1500+ a month. You think it will be hard to find something at that expectation ?
Our resorts in Canada were open this year and where I skied in lake Louise our season started late October and it’s still going strong right now in April
@@pullman7540 Oh wow that's amazing!! Lake Louise and surrounding areas in Banff was actually where I learnt how to ski. What company are you with if you don't mind me asking? :)
@@beth02x oh I’m a local living in Calgary which is just under two hours from lake Louise. Season passes were on a huge discount this year since the last season ended early to covid so I’ve been ripping it up there with my friends every weekend since October. At that point you’d pay much more in gas than lift costs so carpooling is highly recommended (but be careful with covid). They opened up a new area this year called west bowl and it’s so big and its terrain is amazing. They’ve also just started building new lifts too so Louise is starting to look very different from even a year ago.
I would apply to a couple as it gives you a better chance of getting a job but if you get offered a job right away take that one as long as it’s one you want to work for xx
Hi i was just wondering about the visa situation with working in the eu from the uk. Was it the company that sorted all that out or is it something you need to figure out yourself?
For the Eu I am guessing you are asking. The company will have to have filled certain criteria pre advertising the job. It is them they that will have to apply for the visa on your behalf.
I believe when I went the uk was part of eu but now I believe you may need to sort your visa out but the company will advise you how to do that when you get a job x
Thanks for the video! Do you have to attend the interview in person (can you do it on zoom) and is the pre meet up compulsory? I’m planning on travelling Sep-Nov so won’t be in the UK.
Aw thanks for watching it 🥰 it didn’t cost me a lot at all as you only pay for going to the interview and DBS check and then they provide everything else and you get paid for working anyway x
You are just delightful 🥰 I have been watching your ski videos as I’m applying to work seasons at the min and they have been so useful, so thank you!!! Some TH-camrs will add a little tab at the bottom that breaks down the sections of the video, I think they would be great on your videos ❤️ take care sweet girl
what month did you begin your application ?
What age did you go ? and What month did you apply?
Hi, I found your video very helpful, thank you! I was just wondering what month did you apply for your ski season job?
So glad you found this helpful ☺️ I think I applied around this time 😊 so if you’re going to apply for this year then I’d start looking 😊

Do you reckon seasons will be going ahead this year due to covid?
I’m not sure to be honest but I know they’re taking reserved places just in case x
