But his political choices make sense, war is hard and I agree with the way he ended it considering that the old king refused surrender (and that seems to be the only thing keeping the war going). Also taking into consideration the suffering he's seen and gone through during the war, I don't blame him for taking this option to end it. He protected our people, ended the war and the suffering that came with it and even prevented an arranged marriage. Other than the initial shock and betrayal I don't logically see why the listener would object (at least they can agree he made the right choice politically even if he made many mistakes emotionally).

War is hell. Politics is hell. Can't put people through hell and expect them to come out whole. I'm genuinely surprised that going through all of that he maintained enough of his own sanity to remember affection for anyone, much less to remember promises made and try to protect the listener from seeing what he felt he had to do. I may be odd, but I think it's bittersweet for someone so broken to cling to what they knew and loved the last time they were whole.

Imagine a part 2 where the royal listeners betrothed gets word of the coup d’état and his betrothed spouses demise, so he intervenes to rescue them from the dungeon and new crazed king leading a love triangle, betrayal and epic battle for the listener. Edit: also imagine the listener being the one to kill the crazed king in order to save the kingdom from his ever growing madness as he stands over the betrothed ready to kill him the listener strikes and as he lays there dying they cradle him in their arms mourning their friend and first love, their father and the countless who suffered while watching the light fade from his eyes.

He just killed our father and imprisoned us thinking that it's for our own good... If I misunderstood something then sorry 😅 I've seen similar concept so many times that it's stuck in my head for good now XD
The last phrase: HOLY SH*T I feel kinda scared with that ending, but another part of me wanted to take care of my traumatized boy, he just wanted to protect everyone, so we could finally be together 😭 (and maybe find a therapist on the way) amazing work👏👏👏

It’s been awhile and I’m still in love with this story. A part of me always still hurts because I wish our character could live happily ever after with him.
“Am I.. not enough for you?..” that line just broke me 🤧 Great job on that deliver Pebs, all the lines leading up to that one is just so smooth it feels unreal. The emotion you put into all those lines packs quite a punch too, felt like a left hook to the face with that one and a punch to the gut with “Everyone breaks eventually..” to finish it off. I really love this! The character of the knight and the story are both written very well and I love the sound of your voice. Please turn this into a series.
I'm like a week late but its fine, my nerdy side loves it when you think through each paragraph and the thought processes of each character. It's so much fun for me to listen to the story progress because of it. I've always loved the story based asmr videos more than the romance ones. Ik the pinned comment goes deep into the yandere's mind and actions, but ik that also said they didnt understand y/ns actions so I thought I would give my own opinion on each character lol Yandere: so we know that he's seen war and been locked inside a dungeon. We also know that he loves y/n and would do anything to keep them for himself and protect them. The war aspect must have been extremely traumatic and this would've made his love for y/n into more of an obsession if he sees her as a safe space to not be judged. We see the king has always disliked the yandere becuase he is a commoner, and many other people probably would react the same towards him, so when y/n actually treats him like a human being and not something less, that probably started his obession/love for them in the first place. He put y/n in the dungeon because they didn't comply with his actions, and he assumed that the king brainwashed them, like how he did when the yandere DID when he fought in the war. Since the yandere was "unbrainwashed" when he was stuck in the other kingdom's dungeon, his thoughts were that the same would happen to y/n and they would start loving him again. He killed the king becuase he was blinded by rage, not only becuase the king refused to surrender, but he sold off y/n as well, which meant that the yandere couldn't have them for himself, the thing that finally made him snap was the king saying he wasnt worthy enough to make y/n happy. Y/n: I would say that I would be angry as well. To be fair, their supposed best friend not only betrayed the kingdom by killing the king by the wishes of the enemy, but the king was also y/n's dad. I think I would be pretty pissed off if my friend killed my dad, becuase I love him. He raised me and helped me thrive and become self-reliant. Which is another point. Clearly y/n is pretty self reliant as we can see the the pact between the two. Y/n wanted their kingdom to be safe before they even thought of leaving and traveling the world, and the yandere wants them to only rely on him for safety and happiness, which they probably dont want. Another thing, they care more about their kingdom than their own happiness and dreams. Them losing the war means that the other side gets something, whether that's land, money, etc.. We know that they dont have any more money, so that means that the other side will most likely take land, resources, or even people, which probably makes y/n even more upset. Then with the yandere being mad that they have their own feelings and don't agree with him, probably makes them dislike him more. The king: he cares about y/n, and he probably didnt want to sell them off for allies, but he probably thought it over and decided that they would ve taken care of, since the kingdom he gave them to was rich. Not only that, but they were also royalty and would be able to give his child anything they wanted to be happy. He didn't want the commoner who wouldn't be able to provide for his child, and he definetly didnt want the yandere after he betrayed the kingdom and threatened to kill him. In conclusion....will there be a part 2? 😂

Imagine a part 2 where the royal listeners betrothed gets word of the coup d’état and his betrothed spouses demise, so he intervenes to rescue them from the dungeon and new crazed king leading a love triangle, betrayal and epic battle for the listener.
Edit: also imagine the listener being the one to kill the crazed king in order to save the kingdom from his ever growing madness as he stands over the betrothed ready to kill him the listener strikes and as he lays there dying they cradle him in their arms mourning their friend and first love, their father and the countless who suffered while watching the light fade from his eyes.
Knight: “why are you scared of me?!”
Me: “my dad..”

Idk i just loved the energy on this one. The way it snapped. The delusion and the clear PTSD on him is real good.

It’s been awhile and I’m still in love with this story. A part of me always still hurts because I wish our character could live happily ever after with him.
“Am I.. not enough for you?..” that line just broke me 🤧 Great job on that deliver Pebs, all the lines leading up to that one is just so smooth it feels unreal. The emotion you put into all those lines packs quite a punch too, felt like a left hook to the face with that one and a punch to the gut with “Everyone breaks eventually..” to finish it off. I’m basically dead at the end, but absolutely loving the story so far, keep it up mate 👌 can’t wait to hear more from you 😊

I'm like a week late but its fine, my nerdy side loves it when you think through each paragraph and the thought processes of each character. It's so much fun for me to listen to the story progress because of it. I've always loved the story based asmr videos more than the romance ones.
Ik the pinned comment goes deep into the yandere's mind and actions, but ik that also said they didnt understand y/ns actions so I thought I would give my own opinion on each character lol
Yandere: so we know that he's seen war and been locked inside a dungeon. We also know that he loves y/n and would do anything to keep them for himself and protect them. The war aspect must have been extremely traumatic and this would've made his love for y/n into more of an obsession if he sees her as a safe space to not be judged. We see the king has always disliked the yandere becuase he is a commoner, and many other people probably would react the same towards him, so when y/n actually treats him like a human being and not something less, that probably started his obession/love for them in the first place. He put y/n in the dungeon because they didn't comply with his actions, and he assumed that the king brainwashed them, like how he did when the yandere DID when he fought in the war. Since the yandere was "unbrainwashed" when he was stuck in the other kingdom's dungeon, his thoughts were that the same would happen to y/n and they would start loving him again. He killed the king becuase he was blinded by rage, not only becuase the king refused to surrender, but he sold off y/n as well, which meant that the yandere couldn't have them for himself, the thing that finally made him snap was the king saying he wasnt worthy enough to make y/n happy.
Y/n: I would say that I would be angry as well. To be fair, their supposed best friend not only betrayed the kingdom by killing the king by the wishes of the enemy, but the king was also y/n's dad. I think I would be pretty pissed off if my friend killed my dad, becuase I love him. He raised me and helped me thrive and become self-reliant. Which is another point. Clearly y/n is pretty self reliant as we can see the the pact between the two. Y/n wanted their kingdom to be safe before they even thought of leaving and traveling the world, and the yandere wants them to only rely on him for safety and happiness, which they probably dont want. Another thing, they care more about their kingdom than their own happiness and dreams. Them losing the war means that the other side gets something, whether that's land, money, etc.. We know that they dont have any more money, so that means that the other side will most likely take land, resources, or even people, which probably makes y/n even more upset. Then with the yandere being mad that they have their own feelings and don't agree with him, probably makes them dislike him more.
The king: he cares about y/n, and he probably didnt want to sell them off for allies, but he probably thought it over and decided that they would ve taken care of, since the kingdom he gave them to was rich. Not only that, but they were also royalty and would be able to give his child anything they wanted to be happy. He didn't want the commoner who wouldn't be able to provide for his child, and he definetly didnt want the yandere after he betrayed the kingdom and threatened to kill him.
In conclusion....will there be a part 2? 😂
