Hi everyone ♥ I noticed that I should have mentioned the stitch count for each round after completion.
rnd1 through rnd3 I count my starting chains as a stitch
rnd1: *12* sts (the starting ch 3 should be treated as a chain space for rnd2. Therefore, you should have 12 chain spaces total)
    rnd2: *24* sts (12 groups of 2DC into rnd1’s chain spaces)
    rnd3: *36* sts (12 groups of 3DC into rnd2’s chain spaces)
    rnd4: *24* ch 5 spaces
    rnd5: *12* flower bases & *12* leaves
    Flower rnd1: *5* popcorn stitches
    Flower rnd2: *10* petals

When I tell you that your flower coaster method is the prettiest I’ve seen… I mean it. A different creator made a set using your instructions, and that is actually how I found your tutorial. The instructions are pretty clear if you understand the basic crochet stitches which is great. I think you said that this was your first tutorial, and that’s crazy because you were so clear for a first timer. Well done. And thank you… I’ve been searching for how to make your version. ❤

You did an amazing job on this tutorial! I didn’t think you went to fast at all. I think people would struggle either way because this is not a beginner project. That’s an experience issue, not a teaching issue. Way to go. I can’t wait to make this for my desk!

I think this pattern is so beautiful. The creator did such an amazing job. And I love her soft voice.
I just don’t like that a lot of people are commenting negative things about some of the confused crocheters. It’s ok. We’re all suppose to be here to help each other. If someone is having a hard time, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re beginners or that it’s too advanced. I e been crocheting for a LoOoOoOoOong time and the flower petals confused me but, this was still a beautiful pattern. It was so much fun and I love the little coasters. She did such an amazing job with recording and audio and even with the soft relaxing background music.

Very good tutorial! I will say, I don’t like to finish the project and have a ton of ends to weave in, so I try to weave them in as I go as much as possible. Sometimes I crochet the tail into the work, sometimes I crochet around the tail and sometimes I pause and weave it in before moving to the next color. I just don’t want to be faced with lots of tails when the project is finished. It makes me feel better to do them as I go.
Thanks for this tutorial. Very cute!

For those of you who have trouble with the popcorn stitches, id recommend making a tulip headband to become familiar with the sitch and the use of different colours aswell. This was a great tutorial but i have to say i got confused a bit of times since you spoke of the next action after youve already done it and the occasion slips from the camera but that part is understandable because i know how hard it is to keep track when youre making something. Mine turned out so cute! Thank you for this tutorial

I love this so much! It's lovely and it's really creative. I've been crocheting for 3 weeks and I think this is my best project yet! I like how the flowers are big, how they're so beautiful, how they hug the cup placed on it, and how there are leaves inbetween. I'm really loving the first one I made! I cannot stop admiring it. I can't wait until it's completed.
As for the tutorial itself, it was perfect for me. The speed is good, you get straight to the point but still easily understood. I do understand how some people couldn't follow the last part easily as I could specifically see which stitch you were placing your hook into, but luckily my guessing gave me similar results. Anyway I just loved the result and pattern so much that I wanted to leave a comment. Best wishes!

    *Edit*
I already made 4 of these and turned out sooo cute! I definitely made a mistake the first time and made 2 more flowers -- a great outcome from a mistake if you ask me -- Be cautious to pull the yarn in the correct place and take it slow the first time, believe me once you get it you'll do it by muscle memory.
At 6:40 you say I should have 24 chain 5 spaces. I have 28 but I checked and i did it correctly (I'm like 90% sure lol) ahhh

You’re not the first person to say that 🤔 go to my pinned comment and double check your stitch counts in your rounds to see if you added any extras and let me know. I’ll try to help the best I can

I’m rewatching the video to see if I did my math correctly too

@@LacieBloom thanks for replying. I checked and indeed I added one extra. I was half asleep last night and messed it up 😆

I’m getting ready to try this. Maybe next video you can center the camera on your work. Or maybe zoom out a little so that it doesn’t go off to the bottom 😊. Other than that, it’s easy to follow. Thank you for this.

I love this pattern so much! It’s so pretty and the tutorial was really easy to follow. I found that my coaster is slightly wavy and won’t lay flat. Any tips on how to fix this?

as someone with an aversion to asymmetry, the only thing I would change would be to work that stitch into the top of the middle stitch of the 3 half-double crochet clusters (the green into the white) rather than between stitches
