When I tell you that your flower coaster method is the prettiest I’ve seen… I mean it. A different creator made a set using your instructions, and that is actually how I found your tutorial. The instructions are pretty clear if you understand the basic crochet stitches which is great. I think you said that this was your first tutorial, and that’s crazy because you were so clear for a first timer. Well done. And thank you… I’ve been searching for how to make your version. ❤
You did an amazing job on this tutorial! I didn’t think you went to fast at all. I think people would struggle either way because this is not a beginner project. That’s an experience issue, not a teaching issue. Way to go. I can’t wait to make this for my desk!
I totally agree, definitely not a beginner's project. This was a beautifully done tutorial! I finished my first coaster, and can't wait to gift this complete project to my friend :)
Idk I’m hearing experienced crocheters having difficulties even with 10 years of doing it, it’s not an experience issue it’s just a processing difference between different people
Love this project and your tutorial was very clear. I love the way you split your yarn to tie knots. Thank you so much. I have crocheted for 70 years or more and love new inspiration. Love to all hookers S French
Thank you for this tutorial. I have been crocheting for 60 yrs. Self taught. You were GREAT! Clear verbage, good camera positioning. Please continue to make more tutorial videos.
girl plz make more tutorials!! this was great. I slowed it down to .5 speed and was able to follow along perfectly! my coasters are coming out so cute and this is the second thing ive ever crocheted!!
I wanted to say that this video is the perfect pace for a lot of intermediate crocheters like me! Making a crochet tutorial video is not easy but thank you for your hard work!
Very good tutorial! I will say, I don’t like to finish the project and have a ton of ends to weave in, so I try to weave them in as I go as much as possible. Sometimes I crochet the tail into the work, sometimes I crochet around the tail and sometimes I pause and weave it in before moving to the next color. I just don’t want to be faced with lots of tails when the project is finished. It makes me feel better to do them as I go. Thanks for this tutorial. Very cute!

You did an absolutely amazing job! I do agree that the flowers are very hard because it does go a little too fast. Everything else was great. This is my first attempt at making something other than blankets beside your pot I got perfect on the first try. I have rewatched the flower 10 times and still having difficulty but I’m not giving up 😊. Thank you!!
I think this pattern is so beautiful. The creator did such an amazing job. And I love her soft voice. I just don’t like that a lot of people are commenting negative things about some of the confused crocheters. It’s ok. We’re all suppose to be here to help each other. If someone is having a hard time, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re beginners or that it’s too advanced. I e been crocheting for a LoOoOoOoOong time and the flower petals confused me but, this was still a beautiful pattern. It was so much fun and I love the little coasters. She did such an amazing job with recording and audio and even with the soft relaxing background music.
Thank you! I’m an experienced crocheter and for me I don’t like those who go so slow! This was perfect and you were straight forward and to the point! Thank you🙏🙏🙏❤️
I absolutely agree! I've watched a few other tutorials for this same pattern and they have been super hard to follow but this one was so well put together and easy to follow!
Hi! I just started crocheting a month ago and absolutely needed to try this. I just want to say I think that your video was very clear and my coaster looks exactly like yours!! I’m so happy!
For those of you who have trouble with the popcorn stitches, id recommend making a tulip headband to become familiar with the sitch and the use of different colours aswell. This was a great tutorial but i have to say i got confused a bit of times since you spoke of the next action after youve already done it and the occasion slips from the camera but that part is understandable because i know how hard it is to keep track when youre making something. Mine turned out so cute! Thank you for this tutorial
I love how cute these are! unfortunately I wasn’t able to get past the petals on the flower itself 😩I hope to come back in the future once i’m more advanced and try again 🩷thank you for posting!
Giiiiirl this was your first tutorial?! You did a fantastic job! Currently just starting on the flowers and I’ve had an easy time of it so far! Thanks for sharing! ❤
I made this for my teacher and it turned out great. I'm pretty sure she liked it (I hope!). Thank you so much for the amazing pattern, I will definitely make it again!!🌷🌷

This was the second video I watched to make this flower coaster. You were so much easier to follow than the other one. As I was writing the pattern, I added better to the title. I think I may actually be able to make it now.
I have been looking for this pattern EVERYWHERE! This is such great work. So beautifully simple. I love it! Easy to follow and amazingly straightforward. THANK YOU!
Amazing pattern! I had just started doing it tonight and I love it! It looks great! I just couldn’t find 3 mm yarn that wasn’t 10$ each so I got 4 mm and adapted my hooks to 3.75 mm and 3.50 mm and it worked amazingly! Thank you thank you thank you!!!🫶🏻Hope you’re well
This is easily the best video crochet tutorial I have ever seen! You were extremely clear, and at no point was I overly confused. You mentioned that it was your first tutorial and you did absolutely incredible! Thank you for the beautiful project!! 💕
Thank you so much for this! I’m so happy I found it. Started crocheting like three months ago maybe? Making this for my girlfriends birthday! Also even though I understand you I’m glad that captions are available bc some crochet tutorials don’t have them AND they don’t say anything either and I’m like- 😧 stuck for a while. This pattern is sooo pretty and you have a lovely voice! 🙃
I just want to tell you that I made one of these coasters because of your video! You did a great job showing and explaining everything and it was easy to follow! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🥰
I love this so much! It's lovely and it's really creative. I've been crocheting for 3 weeks and I think this is my best project yet! I like how the flowers are big, how they're so beautiful, how they hug the cup placed on it, and how there are leaves inbetween. I'm really loving the first one I made! I cannot stop admiring it. I can't wait until it's completed. As for the tutorial itself, it was perfect for me. The speed is good, you get straight to the point but still easily understood. I do understand how some people couldn't follow the last part easily as I could specifically see which stitch you were placing your hook into, but luckily my guessing gave me similar results. Anyway I just loved the result and pattern so much that I wanted to leave a comment. Best wishes!
Hey. I just finished making this flower Coaster. I found it bit difficult to make the first coaster but then 2nd and 3rd were easily made. It turned out very beautiful 😍. Thank you 😊

Thankyou so much for this free pattern, I found it easy to follow until the flowers but just watched you make one instead of trying to follow along then followed with you the next time and it went really well so happy with it!
Thank you for sharing...mine turned out great! I've gotten so many compliments. If too fast for others. Slow speed down . Write out pattern before attempting each round..it helps. Thank you again your very talented.
I love these flower coasters, however I never understood how to crochet it. I am in love with how you explained things, I didn’t understand at first because this flower is kinda complicated Especially the petals..but I did many trial and error until I was successful. And boy, it is not so easy. 12 flowers, isn’t easy. I usually crochet amigurumis and manage to finish within 6 hours. Here I am trying to finish 1 coaster in 6 hours 🤭🤭
very nice... and finally somebody that knows what a popcorn stitch is, lol. Watched a couple other similar videos and they were doing bobble stitches and incorrectly calling them popcorn stitches. Was actually looking for just a pattern, don't care normally to watch crochet videos - just wanted the pattern (I've crochet for over 50 yrs) - and you very nicely also provided the actual pattern not just the video - thank you.
Wow, you are a natural teacher. Very clear and easy to follow instructions. Splitting the yarn to tie off is a really good tip. Thank you. I'm going to make some of these coasters this afternoon. Yeeeeee!
The tutorial was really good thank you! I struggled a little because I ended up crocheting into each individual slot so it was super big and really folded in at first. But so long as you follow your movements it’s absolutely fine. Thank you!
Just made my first coaster and omgeee it’s so pretty!! It’s definitely not as hard as people said it’d be but my hands hurt a bit after just because I normally use size 6 yarn and larger and I used a smaller hook than I normal would and it just wasn’t what I normally do but this is such a cool and fun Christmas gift!
I had trouble in the beginning as it’s a different style of pattern and explained different then others I’d seen but once I locked in it was really easy and came out beautifully! I’m making this for my mom for her birthday and I showed her a test I’d done and she adores it! Thank you!
I don’t normally Leave comments. But thank you so much for this. This project made me want to learn to crochet so I could make it for my mom for Mother’s Day. I did some other tutorials then came to this. Already one coaster done ! Thank you !
Im new to crochet but this was the most easy video ive crossed to follow. Thank you! I will have to slow speed to keep up but thats not biggie. Maybe adding your instructions written on the screen as you do it. (ex: ch1,(DC)x3, ch1) I cant wait to see more!
Thank you so much ch for this tutorial. I made one and it is looking so preety. I'm kinda obsessed with these little flower pot 😊 keep sharing more crochet tutorials. Will be looking forward to it.
Loved this tutorial, great job for your first! very easy to follow and could see everything clearly. Also loved being able to work with you instead of constantly pausing to catch up.
I was so confused on the petal part, and then after watching it through without pausing it partway through your explanation did it finally sink in. My media literacy has tanked since doom scrolling became a regular thing for me. LOL I completely kept missing where you said to slip stitch INTO the base of the DOUBLE crochet, then double crochet into the BRIDGE between the two popcorns, 3 chain and slip INTO base of Double, and repeat. I should watch videos first before starting the project. Lesson learned! 😂😂 Great Tutorial!! Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Absolutely WONDERFUL job and incredibly beautiful coaster set! I also LOVE how you do your ends because I do mine the exact same way, lol! 😆 I've never come across anyone else who's done it this way, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one 😄
Thank you so much for making this tutorial 💗 I ordered this kit off Amazon and the instructions are so confusing. Your tutorial has helped me so much 🙂
Thank you Lacie, I looove this tuto, you hold your thread quite like me, makes me feel at home 😊 I hate when people hold their index fingers like a stick, it's aching to me 😅
@lacy You say this is your first tutorial, and I have to say you did a great job!The only thing you could improve would be to make sure you don't slip off camera. There were a couple spots where I had trouble seeing exactly what you were doing for that reason. (10:55) Also, a little side note on the leaves: I found that if I SS in the back hump of the 4th chain, the leaf is smoother. Hope that helps someone! Great job, girl! Thank you!
i thought it was going to be easy at first but once we got to the flowers i got completely lost 😭 stitching through the popcorn stitches dont make any sense to me! and overalll i have to slow down the instructions a lot to understand anything
@@aswathi3943im not sure if its bc im experienced in coasters but it did not take long for the actual base at all. The framing wasn’t all that complicated but the flowers are so bunched up its hard to keep track.
I actually got it after watching that part realllly close like 20 times, then I got it. It cost me my eyesight but it's worth it,,I suppose 😂, Thanks for the tutorial 🙏🏻💐
this was perfect for just listening like a podcast & following along for those who are more experienced with crocheting & patterns. however i did get very lost at the petals, i made the follow but then the petals became so confusing, im just gonna try a bunch of different things in hopes it’s the vision ❤❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial and idea! I just finished making them for my mom's Christmas gift and I just know she's going to love it. I love them so much I want to make a set for myself ❤ hopefully after the holidays I can😅
I love this pattern so much! It’s so pretty and the tutorial was really easy to follow. I found that my coaster is slightly wavy and won’t lay flat. Any tips on how to fix this?

Thank you!
This is a great tutorial! Thank you for sharing this pattern. I even though they are time consuming I love the flowers on this coaster!
(ex: ch1,(DC)x3, ch1)
I cant wait to see more!
You did a wonderful job, especially if this was your first tutorial! Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much ch for this tutorial. I made one and it is looking so preety. I'm kinda obsessed with these little flower pot 😊 keep sharing more crochet tutorials. Will be looking forward to it.
This was your first tutorial?!?!? It was amazing!!! I can't wait to make this! Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I just finished this project and I absolutely love it. I made my flowers blue. Thank you for the easy to follow and free tutorial
Loved this tutorial, great job for your first! very easy to follow and could see everything clearly. Also loved being able to work with you instead of constantly pausing to catch up.
Hi, I want to let you know. I enjoyed your video this is a really lovely coaster. Thank you.
Thank you for video 😊💓
I was so confused on the petal part, and then after watching it through without pausing it partway through your explanation did it finally sink in. My media literacy has tanked since doom scrolling became a regular thing for me. LOL
I completely kept missing where you said to slip stitch INTO the base of the DOUBLE crochet, then double crochet into the BRIDGE between the two popcorns, 3 chain and slip INTO base of Double, and repeat.
I should watch videos first before starting the project. Lesson learned!
😂😂
Great Tutorial!! Thank you for taking the time to make this!
So cute!! Thank you so much for teaching us! 💐🌺🌷
I can’t wait for the flower pot tutorial!! Nice job !
Will you be providing written patterns too?
Oh my goodness, Lacy! This is your first tutorial? Amazing. You did a beautiful job. Thank you!
Absolutely WONDERFUL job and incredibly beautiful coaster set!
I also LOVE how you do your ends because I do mine the exact same way, lol! 😆 I've never come across anyone else who's done it this way, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one 😄
The way that you do it with us at the same speed is amazing thx ❤😊
Thank you so much for making this tutorial 💗 I ordered this kit off Amazon and the instructions are so confusing. Your tutorial has helped me so much 🙂
I made one coaster, (well I have 11 more flowers to do!) whilst attending an online workshop today. Excellent tutorial. Thank you ❤❤❤
Very easy pattern to follow. I always need a visual and this is great! Thank you❤😊
Love this pattern❤ I just finished one coaster and I love it. You did really good at explaining everything.
Thank you! Your video made this project easy. Look forward to more of your videos.
i absolutely love this idea, so excited to revisit this when my crochet skills improve a bit. so cute!
Wow! I enjoyed your tutorial. Great job, thank you so much,!😊❤
You have a very soothing voice, perfect for TH-cam videos. I loved this tutorial. Thank you for sharing this beautiful project
Thank you Lacie, I looove this tuto, you hold your thread quite like me, makes me feel at home 😊
I hate when people hold their index fingers like a stick, it's aching to me 😅
@lacy You say this is your first tutorial, and I have to say you did a great job!The only thing you could improve would be to make sure you don't slip off camera. There were a couple spots where I had trouble seeing exactly what you were doing for that reason. (10:55)
Also, a little side note on the leaves: I found that if I SS in the back hump of the 4th chain, the leaf is smoother. Hope that helps someone!
Great job, girl! Thank you!
i thought it was going to be easy at first but once we got to the flowers i got completely lost 😭 stitching through the popcorn stitches dont make any sense to me! and overalll i have to slow down the instructions a lot to understand anything
It’s like it takes forever and ever to finish 1 coaster🥲
@@aswathi3943im not sure if its bc im experienced in coasters but it did not take long for the actual base at all. The framing wasn’t all that complicated but the flowers are so bunched up its hard to keep track.
@@paigengawhika7971the base doesn’t take time, but the flowers do.
Each flower is done separately that’s why
I actually got it after watching that part realllly close like 20 times, then I got it. It cost me my eyesight but it's worth it,,I suppose 😂, Thanks for the tutorial 🙏🏻💐
Trust your gut I thought it looked wrong but as I continued it formed into what It was supposed to be
Thank you so much for your clear and easy to folow instruction and a beauty patern i love it
I absolutely love it! And I've done it. Your instructions are so easy to follow! Thank you!!!

I love it so much! Youre absolutely amazing!!! Thank you🌹🙏❤
this was perfect for just listening like a podcast & following along for those who are more experienced with crocheting & patterns. however i did get very lost at the petals, i made the follow but then the petals became so confusing, im just gonna try a bunch of different things in hopes it’s the vision ❤❤
I can finally make this flower coaster after so many different patterns!! thank you so much
This tutorial was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
So very pretty. I should try this. Thank you for sharing

I love this pattern so much! It’s so pretty and the tutorial was really easy to follow. I found that my coaster is slightly wavy and won’t lay flat. Any tips on how to fix this?
