I've tried everything. What fixed mine is taking a toothbrush to my charging port, cleaned it gently , and I also have a can of compressed air I blew in it

What you did?
This just fixed the fast charging issue with my Samsung Galaxy A71. Even thought fast charging was turned on, it wouldn't fast charge. I followed all 3 steps, and after turning my phone back on after the final step, then it began fast charging again! Thank you, so much! 🙂

My s23 ultra charges really slow when screen is on. I'm nursing 45w brick and 100 w cable it takes about 8 minutes to get 1%

Worked for my A52. At 35% charge, it was saying 11 hrs to full. After resetting using this method, it went down to 2hrs 45 min to full. You got a sub, thanks.

IT DOESNT WORK FOR ME
Been trying to avoid original charger & cable as is inconvinient for me to order 'em with lots of fakes out there
My device is SM-A115F
From my experience using 3rd party charger & cable, there's fast charging problem with USB-C to USB-C cable
- USB-C to USB-C WILL NOT able to do fast charge
- USB-A to USB-C will enable fast charge by itself*
3A cable (minimum requirements), but some just wont work for me (stuck 1.5A with 5V 3A cable)
5~6A cable is your best bet
Though it's still limited to 10W fast charging in my case, atleast it's working now & I can dispose my old burned unsafe cable
My burned cable still support fast charge & working quite normal under those conditions 😰
Here's my current charger + cable combo
A bit overkill for SM-A115F but I may use it for my other devices too
Charger:
- Input 100-240V~50/60Hz 1.0A MAX
- Output USB 5V=3A 9V=2A 10V=2.25A
- Output Type-C 5V=3A 9V=3A 12V=2.5A 15V=2A 20V=1.5A
Cable:
- USB-A to USB-C 6A cable (66W max)
- USB-C to USB-C 5A cable (100W max) and this doesnt work 🤣
Also, beware when buying 3rd party charger as some cheaper alternative often have bad quality (sometimes with overheating issue)
Famous brand are also overpriced (for me), but they are safe bet
As for cable
ugreen or essager are quite good, or u can also use cable from same brand of ur choice of charger

i just updated software and my phone has been charging for 3 hours without being plugged out and it only has 27% , i charged it all night last night since 10pm until 9am this morning and it only had 58%.. its like i have to charge it 2 days straight to get full charge what.

it worked for my A15 which charged almost 8 hours to be 100%....i tried everything eg wiping the cache memory, secure mode, changing settings.....abd the last thing was factory reset(i think that would have worked as wel! first backing up contacts, pics & vids, whatsapp etc...than i found this awesome trick!!! *#9900# reset battery stats did the job! Now it says 1.30h instead of 4h...i will let it go full till 100% now hoping it will act normal again!!! MASSIVE THANK YOU!!!! CHEERS BRO!!!! AWESOME!
Remember when Apple was having the same issue?
Apple later came out and said they did it for whatever lame reason they had. But really, it's to force you to upgrade your phone. If your current 1 or 2 generation phone is working perfectly fine and still performs then there's no reason to get the newest version. So they purposely code bugs into your software update so you'd think your phone is going bad so you'll buy their new phone.

I watched this video, followed your instructions (i have a 2019 samsung galaxy A20) but now my phone wont take s charge from my portable battery pack? Also phone still not fast charging when plugged into wall outlet but thats besides the point now. My tablet does this all the time, but it's usually due to an extension cord or something like that. Most probably wouldn't have an issue however, my wiring is super old and I'm thinking that's the source of the problem. As soon as I plug it directly into the wall socket fast-charging works. 🤷🏽♂️

I bought Samsung because I want the camera . But got many problems like Fast Charging keep changing to Cable Charge only .It just start happen few days ago till now. And also sometimes it shows warn that there is humidity in the usb port or usb cable. Because of this i spent more money to buy new usb cable and charger, but the problem still exist. How stupid it is. Before this i Used Xiaomi for almost 4 years never face this problem . I've used Oppo for 3 years before that, Huawei and Sony Xperia for 2 years and then Samsung. For me the best brand is Xiaomi and Sony. So next I'll just stick to these brand.
Seems like it's not a problem with the phone but with the new update. I bought 2 chargers so far thinking it was the chargers problem but after researching I realize it was the new update, I don't think it's affecting the charging speed tho, it's just the notification says cable instead of fast.

My guess they fixed it enough to work then it would 'break so I have to go back get then fix it scam' why I think that they asked if I need it fixed again I was like wait a minute looked at them and thought only for thre secs then said nope it's still working u did a good job just see their reaction which shown they did something.
