BTP used to have an amazing fleet, good lights and everything, but that bloomin TVP fleet agreement has produced some horrific setups. Great compilation!
I agree, the new BTP cars with the TVP light setup just doesn't work. Both services have now also got new Peugeot cars and vans, I'm not the biggest fan of either of them.
Definitely my new favourite video anywhere on the internet of all time! Nice job and thank you for spending the time to create these and making my day so much more enjoyable after the draining anxiety of school. Thanks mate.
@@CobraEmergency Absolutely fine! I love BTP and that amazing and super rare catch; one of the most rare things anyone can ever see in the emergency service world (BTP pulling someone over) at 11:15 is my absolute favourite! Especially with that humourous magnetic beacon. I wonder what they must have done to warrant BTP pulling them over; must be something quite serious as BTP legally only have power outside of railway related property if they deem there to be risk to life, risk of damage to property or their powers are required to assist in carrying out their specific duty. All in all, amazing video!
at the 5:11 mark if someone questions why there where so many officers for one Guy it was a possible suicide attempt the guy was shouying "I wanna die" hence the need for that many officers to keep him safe
Great collection! I considered joining the BTP in Manchester at one point myself, although it didn't seem like the most interesting Police force to join potentially
It's the Emergency Response Unit, it's a technical vehicle used by rail staff to attend incidents, clear them and open up the network again. The only reason it's set up as a police vehicle is because the British Transport Police are the only agency in the rail network authorised to use siren and lights, so a police officer drives it to get to incidents quickly. There are non-police versions also but their response time is very lengthy in London traffic.
The British Transport Police have a few of those. Yeah it's quite funny they look like it but it's actually an Emergency Response Unit which is actually operated by TFL who use them to respond to serious incidents where an engineer and advanced equipment is needed. They are operated by TFL but they are partnered with BTP so that they can have blue lights because the Home Office being the Home Office decided to deny them that capability. But yeah they do look quite entertaining. Imagine being pulled over by one of those things! 😄

@@EastSussex999 TfL couldn't utilise emergency warning equipment because there is no provision in law for the Home Office to make that exemption for them - it would require a change in legislation. Not worth the hassle when things work just fine.
Did you like this themed compilation and would you like to see more?
Yes!
Yea please
Yess
This is AMAZING!!
Yeah... can you do an MoD police one?

Thank you! Glad you liked it.
Police had tackled a suspect after the panic button was activated.
Amazing 👍🏻

Honestly, British emergency vehicles are way better looking than American emergency vehicles.

Belle vidéo
Merci!
Nice vid
ive never seen a police vehicle like that one at 30 seconds
It's not a police vehicle. It's TfL's Emergency Response Unit vehicle driven by a BTP officer.
@@jaxcoss5790 oh right i just never seen one of those before
Awesome can you record more trains in the future?
Thanks Deputy! Yeah you know what? Sure! The question is where do I put them?
Awesome compilation cobra, which area is west mercia?
It's a county up north close-ish to the Birmingham sort of area.
Cheers mate it sounds like its Merseyside but their force is Merseyside police
@@logansadler1931 Definitely not Merseyside. Merseyside is more west than Mercia.
West Mercia covers the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire, in the English Midlands.

Too good for BTP, were you?
Nice! Also, what are your pc specs?
This reminds of the Bill the 80's British police series
Nice!!
Do BTP neighbourhood officers respond on blue lights or is it just arv and SRU
HOLY SHIT HOW DID YOU CATCH ALL THREE OF THOSE RIOT VANS
Quick question but what is that fire engine type thing for?
