    I suggest you do some research - The RAN Collins Class boat is today recognised as a world leader SSK - That is the redesigned, rebuilt version as completed by ASC in Adelaide (with a lot of help from a couple of founder member NATO countries) - not the original Swedish boat of the 1990's which was an absolute crock.

      Good to know....I haven't done a deep dive into those....I've heard they were a disaster but also some say they are good....I heard some refer to the problems they had with them when referring to the shorting barracuda class Australia was going to get and figured with the negative I had hears plus they were looking to replace them they must have been trouble....I'll take a look. Thanks for your info....where would you rank them in our list?

      I'd put Collins 9th place at best on this list......if they were any higher Australia would be keeping them
