Pile2: yes this is a coworker and we see each other on a regular basis. We’ve both very busy and have no time to go out. We are from different backgrounds and I never think that would happen to us. Didn't write this comment straight away, so I don't remember how close this will be to the actual messages, but the following is how I feel.
I've stopped obsessively feeding energy into our connection but I haven't stopped completely. Kind of stopped directly talking to him for a bit but I still connect with him in other ways. I have spent time with him after things felt a bit disconnected on my side and we are still able to banter mostly like before. I think I lost a bit of my feeling of being in love after some reactions I had to his avoidant behaviour though.
I wish to reconcile but I will not move forward as this point. I will not hinder this if and when he decides to move forward. I tried too much to move us forward when he was not ready and it was not our time, but I know now I need to kind of take a step back and give him space while I mostly only focus on me and my own endeavours.
