Unboxing a Patek Philippe Clone

The Patek Philippe reference 5711 is one of the most desirable watches among watch enthusiasts. This is due to it no longer being produced, raising demand for this fabled time piece.
Unfortunately, people have also taken advantage of this, resulting in clones taking over. Many people find themselves victim of a clone, resulting in embarrassment, money lost, and perhaps, worst of all, their loss of passion for watch collecting.
Thankfully, yours truly has purchased such a clone and has experience dealing with a real 5711. Hopefully, this video will educate others about some signs of when you might be dealing with a clone. These tips also apply to other watches too.
You might be wondering what watches have to do with photography. I use watches all the time when I'm out and about photographing Chadly animals. Usually, a Casioak works, but sometimes, if I'm photographing a wedding, for example, I'll dress up and sport a finer time piece.

Hope you didnt pay more than 100 for that replica. Its terrible quality. The color is off, the thickness is like a brick. Next time get one manufactured by PPF. They make the 5711 so much thinner but its all good. Just have fun with it! Enjoy and thanks for the video.

I'm not sure who makes the best replicas; seems to be a hit or miss in my experience. But, I find a lot of good ones on OfferUp and sometimes Etsy.
With that being said, I'm all for reps. There's valid reasons for them too 👌

Most of the reps I find are from OfferUp. Lots of scammers out there, but if you buy from verified profiles with lots of reviews you should be pretty safe.

Looks just as good as an original and this proves that watches are just insanely over priced, if I had let's say 80,000 in money and someone approached and said you can buy this genuine watch at 70,000 or you can buy this super clone at 500 and is 99% like the original, it takes an expert to spot the difference, its no brainer I would go for the super clone and save myself 69,500, there's a massive difference in price and that all down to greed.
