This problem of rejection is on the end of delivery boy checking the phones, last year I exchanged a 3 years old 15000 rupees phone for 9000(including 3000 bonus), and my experience was great. On the other hand, my brother got his exchange rejected without any reason, so thi is on the delivery boy.

But ye bhai delivery person pe depend krta hai k kitna deduct hoga, vo diagnosis run krega phone ka k sb chlra hai like touch, speaker, mic,camera,etc. And agr physical damage hoga to paise deduct krega. The value is fixed even if you used the phone for 6 months, so it is best you exchange a fairly old phone. And also some company's phone have better exchange value, like I have seen flipkart provides less value for Samsung phones and provide good value for Redmi phones.

Amazon also do the same scam with their customers, one of my friend wanted to exchange his 5 years old phone Samsung M30, the phone is in a superb condition with no visible scratch at all. After investigating everything the delivery boy told him that his display is duplicate, which is definitely not and the justification delivery boy gave him was why there is no scratch in screen even after using it for 5 years. The delivery boy told him either pay him 6,600 or he would cancel the order.

As per the Flipkart policy,box and charger are not mandatory. In my case delivery boy was asking for extra 500 for box and charger then I complaint to the ekart and they said it is not mandatory and made negative remarks against delivery boy. But that was very bad experience as need to chase him and need to go to the ekart office.
