Yes that's my g3. I blew up Seadoo and put a 2012 1.8ho yamaha in it. I haven't got around to posting a video with the new drivetrain. I'm too busy enjoying the boat now that it's reliable.
Did you just use 3003? I can't make up my mind to build an aluminum boat or a glass boat. Both are easy to do since I build large robotic ice vending machines for a living. I'm leaning toward glass with a 135 HP Yamy for power. Tivar 1000 on bottom to protect from oyster shell beds. Not going into tight confines like your Altoona trip,so a 16 footer with 4 foot bottom will serve my needs getting in and out of the tidal creek I live on. My mama is from Carroll County and lives on St. Simons now. I live just outside of Beaufort, SC. I would like to pick your brain from time to time.
