I love that you are using a ringed binder for a commonplace book. I’d love to see more videos like this because others tend to use bound books to journal in, which does not vibe with me.
Aaah thanks Brittany! Yeah, I love the binder because it allows me to shuffle around the pages in the order I like. For instance, all my favorite movie quotes in the same section❣️
Interesting, I started using pvc binder’s for my commonplace items because it’s cheaper than leather and I don’t feel guilty when I archive the entire book on the shelf and purchase a pretty new pvc binder. I am on binder number 2 and have found myself planning on storing specific topics in pvc notebooks because of the items I collect. The inexpensive binders are addicting ☺️

Great video. The rings on your binder will last longer if you use the latch mechanism to open them rather than pulling the rings apart. I'm using a similar set up but trying to decide if I want to use both front and back of page.

Don't you like to write on the back of the page? My binder used to be like this but then I started to feel that it was a waste of paper and space, so I came back and start to fill the blank pages.
No, I've always had a thing about writing on the back of a page. I think it bothers me that it bleeds and shows through. It ruins my designs 🤣
Hi, girl. No clue if you did get the Plotter in the end but just wanted to jump in and warn you that Plotter uses thinner paper because part of the charm of their covers is that the rings tend to be smaller. So you might want to either get bigger rings or use thinner paper from the get go if you plan to migrate. 😉
Aaah, thanks for sharing. Haven't got the Plotter yet, cos it's very expensive but I might one day 😄
What kind of paper do you use?
This was the paper that came with the journal. I don't what kind of paper it is. I think very average paper, nothing special for sure.
