For me, the only way to justify the price of this car was if they they had given the 1.5l engine in the T Cross top end model. Imagine that 110kw in this body with that 7 speed DSG. 👌🏾👌🏾
That's quite high consumption, I've driven the previous 70 kw dsg unit and in town I averaged about 5.4 or so and on the highway it's about 4.5 l/100km. With 5 people and luggage highway is about 5.9 l/100km. I understand though that this is the more powerful version, so it's expected that it'll use more fuel
Great video. Your Suzuki & installment video is very informative. I really enjoy your POV videos as well. What's the house tune you playing in the video?
❤thank you for doing the new generation polo.👍 I take my hat out to the Suzuki swift. Will not buy this polo..too costly for city running. next i would like to see the toyota startlet, i hear its around 5.4 L/100.❤️
The Rline polo has always looked good, this is the only polo I've actually sat down and thought of buying, especially the 2021 one, but the price is... NO. (Not a big VW fan) Also what are you thoughts on Judy Jay buying a golf GTI "TCR". Do you think dealers take advantage of women?
@@embakubmotoring @embakubmotoring Exactly. When I travel on the freeway, from Free State to Northern Cape, it goes 850 km. It has a 55 liter tank, and my cruise speed is usually between 120 and 140 kph. Take into consideration that it is slightly bigger and heavier.
Genuinely speaking the polo rline that made sense was the previous generation because it was an option which you could fit on the comfortline or Highline.dont waste your money on this expensive bodykit with no performance benefits a car that stand alone.has to be faster than a regular polo
Mine has the same problem start/stop error, and VW are failing to resolve the problem. The car does achieve 4.5l/100km, even less, but it all depends on how you drive.
@@sanelemyeni1537 I took it to VW today, hopefully they manage to solve the problem. If not they would have to give me a car that is not defective. It is still under warranty so hopefully they solve the problem.
The Polo Rline looks ridiculously good, taking away that it is overpriced. It's a good looking car honestly
Absolutely it's a very beautiful car just the price that's giving a headache
It deserves a 1.5 tsi
@@clefetgaingob5087or the 1.4 tsi previously found in the golf tsi
I like these consumer focused videos, important information over here.

Very good point there, but yeah it’s not too bad

One day i would love to see a review together with a pov drive of the previous gen Ford Ranger FX4
With my car, I've managed to get 4.5Lkm/100km. This car is proper efficient.
even in the city driving?
@@kwenamedia city driving, I mostly get 6.2L in the city.

Please don’t buy this new R-Line, it’s too overpriced

Funny how these 1.0 liter polo are just as efficient as my golf 6 1.4 tsi with 122 hp (90kw). My golf is a 2010 dsg model with 134 600 km.
Doesn’t that make the Golf the more impressive car?😉

I’ve got an MK6 Jetta and I’ve driven 958km on one full tank and had some left to roam around town after wards 🙆🏾♂️😅

Why didn't you reset the trip?
I did that earlier when I got the car
This car is beautiful
Very
Jst pray that 7 speed dsg doesnt break or yeses
This car has high fuel consumption due to too much heat generated by the engine😂it's working overtime
Theres no comparison with the Suzuki Swift wich is absolutelly better in terms of fuel consumption

Seconded, guys please don’t buy this car…
Aii bro😭😭I think you owe us 2hours of pov drive with this car😂
😅😅😅
I do 4.2L/100 km
How do you manage to get those numbers?
Sh*t car i bought it in december and its already giving orange EPC light and auto start/stop not work
I know it's new, but check the battery, those issues you just mentioned are indicative of a battery that needs to be replaced

it is not fuel efficient this car chows petrol.
Very true
I just hate that 1.0 Engine
Me too🤣
@@embakubmotoring really I'd rather buy Polo Vivo 1.4 or 1.6
