@@imwatchinberniemac I know you didn’t ask me but if you’re interested, I personally think the answer is yes. Bernie gives off that he was naturally funny stand up or not, he seems like he couldn’t have been boring if he tried, therefore he didn’t really have to try to be funny in stand up. He’s seemed like he was just himself. Also from the description of other comedians who refused to go after Bernie because he was that good, he seemed like he could really crack people up effortlessly.
That’s what makes him so good. Mike Epps and Earthquake are the same

I didn't know anything about Bernie until they filmed the Kings of Comedy movie in Charlotte in 2000. I found it funny that D.L., Cedric, and Steve would say, "Charlotte," but Bernie just called us "North Carolina." After that I watched him every time I could. Hilarious! RIP
