I also remember when she was investing in insurance policies, she only told me so that in any case anything happened to her, at least someone would have intel there is money somewhere... This year, my mum went to pay for my brother's school fees at an agent and my dad had accompanied her and when it got to that part where they ask you who's paying, the agent refused to acknowledge my mum as the one paying and he got furious because she didn't say it was my dad paying and my brother's name was used as the one paying his fee at the end of it all. We live in an interesting world. Thank you for this conversations Caroline 😄

Oh and by the way, my son has vocalised his frustration with the state of my finances. My pride was hurt but I got over that right quick and decided to take on the challenge to do better. Because children do what their parents do, more than what their parents say.
