Thanks for 4p game! I usually only 2p on BGA but all my IRL games are 4p as it's a pretty popular game in my local group. And all Ark Nova advice on YT is based on 2p and the Arena which I'm not that big a fan of.
Questions to help me improve: 1:51, if you are taking Talented Communicator anyway, isn't Basic research > Crocodile? 2:06:34 I spreadsheet this stuff out in my games!
Just out of curiosity: why didn't you just play div reseracher + science institute from range with 2 x before break, then after break build 5 + 2 with 2 x for bear and hippo then double assoc research 5 + herb breeding or rock. that was what i would've have done ... instead you used assoc for uni while you could have gotten 2 research without assoc with science institute and had assoc ready at 5 for 2 final project after bear and hippo ...
Looking back this line does look better. I think I was just stuck trying to juggle too many options and didn't think it through enough- thanks for spotting this line!

Agreed - I'm much more of a multi-player fan myself and 2p ark nova has notably different pacing that affects the flow!
I always play 4p irl Ark Nova games, so it's great having some 4p games as well on the Tube ... 🙂

Yeah.. from a technical perspective that is always my number one error when I play ark nova and it's a problem
Nice to see some Ark play. Rarely watch 4 P games. I thought your ELO was like 500 at least ( I know it is just a number, but anyway).
@@jankogo I hit 500 at some point but dropped quite a lot when playing 2p, which is clearly a weakness of mine
@@phoenicksgaming I know the feeling. I have been around 300-400 a while now. I almost exclusively play 2P. Sometimes you just have a loosing streak.

You're probably right, I have a hang up about playing nile crocodile tho! And legit but you don't always have a spreadsheet handy when playing :)
