Cleaannnn! I've owned two 98's. My second one was a white vinyl topped gold 1977 with 350. It was from Arizona (i lived in Michigan then) and rust free. I straight piped it and just a cool whip to roll around with. I ended seizing the motor over being dumb (and beginning of the drinking years) after having timing gear go and after replacement not adjusting timing and removing material. Heads up on the factory timing gears, at least for 350, are made of some type epoxy around a metal hub. They shred to pieces when they fail too.

I had a olds 307 with the quada jet carb I could never get it right.
