I love my dryer balls. Laundry sheets are great too, especially if you travel or use laundromats. I’m scent sensitive, so I’m looking for scent and dye-free laundry soap sheets, which so far I haven’t seen at DT.
I always pick up night lights at my local DT. I use them in hotel rooms to help me navigate at night. They’ve saved me many a stubbed toe. And if I forget them, well, they were only a buck+.
Hi, I just say the six section caddies. They are great for kindergarten students to keep their pencils and crayons in the middle of the tables. You can also put cups in them and fill them with paints at an art easel. I love your show!!!❤️❤️❤️
I'm a traveling deaf and hard of hearing teacher. Those huge totes with the handle are perfect for organizing materials in my trunk according to the needs of my students.
Those “cup caddies” are a teachers dream! Especially for elementary teachers! You get one in every color for each table to store the scissors, pencils, glue etc. I wish they had them when I was still teaching!
The clear totes are great for storing scarves, belts, socks, t-shirts, tank tops, sneakers, etc. in closets. You can easily see thru all 4 sides to pick what you need. I hang them on large cup hooks, on closet walls.
One of my favorite items at DT is their cleaning vinegar. I always stock up on that. One cup in every laundry load makes it softer, smells better and really helps take out all the laundry soap. I love All things DT😊
"You can't sell an empty shelf" is an old retail motto, and July is one of those in-between seasons months where a lot of stores are doing clearance sales and selling through summer to make room for fall. My local stores are filling up empty shelf space with last year's fall floral, a few HW things, and even some old Easter branded craft stuff in Crafter's Square.
@@sharmanmurphree-roberts4018that would be a ridiculous amount of electricity to use for less than 12 ears of corn. Plus it was 115F yesterday. I'm thinking you're crazy. 😊 obviously heat stroke.
Those pop up laundry hampers are not new to dollar tree. You used to be able to find them regularly about 6 years or so ago (back when they also used to cost a buck). Unless they have greatly improved the quality on these, I'd maybe think twice. You have to reinforce the handles before you use them to carry anything in them or the handles will tear off (and rip your hands up in the process). How do I know? My kid had about twelve of these that made regular trips in rotation back and forth to a college apartment. I knitted cotton yarn "I cords" (I have a little "I cord" machine) and stitched them on to replace the flimsy handles. Oh, and the metal also will pop out when the corners of the fabric gets worn and it WILL cut you, so be aware.
IKEA has similar pop up laundry ha,per for $5, they’re more sturdy than the dollar tree ones. They used to be only $1 before all these crazy inflation and bonus items.
You're right, they last as long as you'd expect $1 to take you! They are good for holding stuffed animals in a kids room, store blankets in a closet, anywhere you don't actually have move it.
For the steam bags with corn you can skip the bag if your corn has the husk, just pop it in the microwave for 4 minutes per ear of corn. Once the corn is done take it out (careful it is hot) and cut the thick end off, then grab the top and shake the ear of corn out... no silk will be on the corn and it will be cooked very well.
I line mine with a grocery bag. I also bought a bag of stones from the craft section in Dollar Tree to weight it down in the car. No mire tipping over. I put the entire bag of stones in the container, no need to involve individual stones. Then I put the grocery bag in.
My favorite Dollar Tree items of all time: Retinol Night Repair Serum, reading glasses, and canisters of "Glass Plus" wipes. You get 160 wipes in a canister and it saves money because you don't have to buy as many paper towels. However, my local Dollar Tree has a pathetic selection of reading glasses and hardly ever has any new products.
I stopped at Dollar Tree yesterday thinking I was going to get some steps in but so much new stuff was out I lost track of time. I also found some clear acrylic drawer sorting bins by the school stuff. I didn’t see any planner stuff at the DT I went to so I think a road trip sounds good. DT, here I come!
I always get my paper products for school at Staples. Lower priced and Staples is also giving credits towards new purchases when recycling old or used products.
4:12 Those glass bottles have flip tops which means they're good for making kombucha and kvass at home. Flip top bottles are usually priced way too high, and can be hard to find.
Same here. Loads of Dollar Tree "haul" videos and most of these stores now have nothing of what they show. Went to two DT's around the 4th of July, both poorly stocked. Most people would love to be able to find food that's not junk food or tiny bottles or cans and made overseas. Used to be that the Dollar Tree stores would spread out the same thing over an entire row or on an end cap, now they don't seem to even try to do that. Doesn't look well stocked like this videos, many empty pegs.
You are right every time when you say, “This could be my best Dollar Tree video ever.” You always find amazing items. Happy 4th of July to you and your amazing family!
I bought the clear wide tape and have been using it to wrap up my packages it works really well and I bought the hemp lotion dupe last week used it 2x right after I get out of the shower it is a little watered down so careful when using it but love the smell and feels great thank you for showing all the new items
Okay, maybe wrong time of year, but those wreath hangers are great for hanging your totes off a carport or laundry room door. They don't screw up your door or door frame like those other two pronged hooks that are supposedly meant for doors, but don't really fit and really mess up your door. For me, those two pronged hooks only work on my looser fitting closet doors that fold when opened, and of course you can't use them in close proximity to your bedroom doors because they will bust them up. Common sense, but an easy mistake you might not think of when you are buying a number of them at once. The wreath hooks are also useful on the inside a closet door if the door is thick enough. You could hang umbrellas from them also. But in my house they work for me on the outside doors, I just don't think it is attractive to hang it from an inside front door. I don't want to look at a bunch of crap on the back of my front door. It depends on your space. Maybe if your front door area is already used as an open closet it wouldn't matter so much, but it is good to mindful of how you hide any clutter. It makes a huge difference on your stress level and being able to organize your thoughts. Clutter really isn't good for you mentally. I find it can be stressful enough to keep me from sleeping and you might not even realize at first the source of the stress. Also open closet doors in your bedroom or open bedroom doors might contribute to insomnia as well. Conceal your clutter and keep your space tidy and your bed sheets clean and your bedding comfortable and not something you have to wrestle with. I know no one asked. I just wanted to mention it because discovering these little problems amd fixing them have made a huge difference in how I eel in my own space and I just wanted to share.
Thank you for another DY video. Let's not encourage the price increases by saying that here and there it's okay. If we do, we know they are going to take advantage of that and raise all the prices. I think the only way to avoid that (or at least hold it off) is if people refuse to purchase the items with price increases. (Now having a $3 and $5 section with better quality items is fine as long as they don't increase the price of the "regular items".)
Half the time they don’t have what you show here, which is a shame but I still go to check and see if they really have it. Thank you for the info, it’s always appreciated. 😊
Once I saw Ouidad, I had the urge to jump in my car. But then I remembered that the three dollar tree stores around me are not as cool or clean as yours.
That shipping tape (both clear and tan) would be great for my eBay sales, as well as for anyone packing moving boxes (or reinforcing overstuffed "back to campus" tote tubs!).
Has anyone tested the quality, especially of the packing tape? As a professional organizer, I've tried many different brands and I'm usually dissatisfied for one or more reasons (tears easily, hard to find the end if not secured, doesn't hold well). Thus far, my personal favorite is the 6-pack Intertape clear packing tape at U-haul online & in larger stores (not all stores).
@@BasicYTHandle Sam's Club had a good deal on clear packing tape in May, and they still had it at the same price at the end of June. If I can't wait for an Amazon order to arrive, I've occasionally bought a single roll of packing tape at the local Family Dollar (owned by the same corporation as Dollar Tree, so might be the same tape). If I'm able to make a Walmart run, however, the Duck brand packing tape (clear or tan) at Walmart is pretty decent and reasonably priced.
Thanks Matt! My favorite recent DT purchases are the laundry sheets and the Ouidad Twist products. They both work really great! Also they have a voice activated dome lamp for $1.25 that is fantastic! I agree with you too…Yay summer!!! ❤️👍
Family Dollar and no longer a Dollar Tree store ( $1.25 ) same company and need to cut cost, think you will see more combo stores and other stores closing. Profits on Dollar Tree may not be great due to the high freight cost to bring goods into the country. Prices are back up to ship containers
I went to my local Dollar Tree this morning. They were in the process of moving and restocking things, so some of the shelves were empty, while others were messy. I did score a couple of Monster Nitro Infused Lattes at $1.25 each, which is half the price they would have been at Walmart. I call that a win! 😁
I went to Dollar Tree today and found those clear plastic tote bags shown in this video at 0:32, but they were not hanging nicely on a hook at an end cap as shown in the video. They're in the middle of an aisle on the lowest shelf where you almost won't notice them. They are awesome. I bought one because I saw a travel video this week where someone used them to organize toiletries.
I've been living in a rural area for 3 years. Previously, I was in the Chicago suburbs. I am moving soon, and having seen the difference in many stores, I can attest to the urban areas getting all the good stuff. Even basic items. I use the universal tool hangers constantly, I was here over a year before I was able to get a usually stock item. The pop-up hampers were a stock item years ago. I'm really glad to see them back in stock, and we actually got these! Our store is neat, clean, and spacious as it is in a former drug store. Unfortunately, we seldom get the good stuff. I'll be glad to return to an area where the good stuff is sent.
I have the honeycomb ice cube tray. I use it to make my fur baby pumpkin pops! They pops out very easily. Just spread pumpkin into tray and freeze n pop out pumpkin cubes n store in zip lock bag in freezer. I use it on her food, too! Great item!!!!!❤❤❤
YEEEESSSSSSSSSS You are right!!!! I saw those at DT and snapped one up immediately! I went to see Weird Al and was stopped at the door with my purse!!! I will always take that bag to any concert so not to be stuck again. WooHoo
I purchased the Ouidad Twist product. It is a superior product as a cleanser conditioner and leave in. Fun fact in the 90s i used to take orders for Ouidad at the call center i worked for. It has always been top notch hair care!
Funny. I went the over day and bought the vegetable/dip container, a toy, face wash, brushing cleaning mat, face masks, floss sticks, planner & jaw clips before seeing this video. Would recommend them all. Going to try the desk-mounted phone holder & magnetic tins for office supplies. Thanks! Have a great week!
Spooky season starts in June now. There are several stores that have their full Halloween displays out already. Not surprising when Xmas items start to show up at the same time as Halloween.
I work retail at another craft store, and some of our customers have informed me that Hobby Lobby jumped the holiday shark last month and started putting out Christmas merch _already!_ 🙄

Our Dollar Tree in my town is located in a hard-to-get-to spot with an extremely small parking area (in a strip shopping center), so I’ve basically stopped going there because it’s just such a hassle. I may have to stop in and check out some of these deals though. Especially the Fall floral stuff. I love to deck out my front porch for Fall and if it’s cheap, I can go all out and not even feel bad about throwing it all away when winter arrives. 😂
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
If you have a pool and floating candleholders, those color changing votives are fun at a party when everyone's done with the pool, or it's too cool for swimming.
I'm using the cup caddies for crafting supplies. The black and white mugs are very upscale looking but not all the patterns are even. I've been enjoying your newsletter!

Ice tray are adorable, The brush cleaners are great too, I use the stackable drawers for my cake decorating things and sprinkles for my treat. The apple bowls are cute and can be filled with candy, nuts or mints for gifts. The Twist hair stuff is AMAZING. People are buying them up in bulk.
I got one and love it!
Such a nice personality! Ty for investing all this time on these videos !
I’m glad to know about the new tape!! Looks much better!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I snagged one of those cup caddies last year- best dollar tree find! Much more stable than the carriers you get with fast food / starbucks
WooHoo
The plastic basket w the extra long handles works great on a door knob
That laundry hamper is amazing because it holds just the right amount of clothes for my washer
Always ❤ seeing you well and having a wonderful time.
Wow that's a well stocked Dollar Tree.
I LOVE my pop up laundry hamper
Great for kids and pet toys also.
I took one on cruises so I could do laundry…after all,I was on one that lasted the entire month of February, 2012.
The laundry sheets are fantastic!
Ty😊
Your videos are very helpful. Thanks for doing these. I always look forward to seeing what’s new and appreciate your comments AND humor!!!
Scent Happy soap is a product sold at Dollar General & popshelf the sister store.
Just wanted to thank you for all of the research you do for us🌹
I found that whole line of twist hair care. Ive been grabbing it up at Dollar Tree I'm at because I know it's gonna go fast. It's soo good.
I don’t use plastik container for my food. I used pyrex glass container. Keep fresh food in refregarator for long time.
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!
Plastic liter soda bottles will keep your yarn from tangling up and organize n clean if you are working with different color yarns.
The steam bags will be perfect for veggies! So many great products at fantastice prices!
The pop up laundry baskets are great for the beach.
Ice packs amazing for mosquito bites! The cold stops the itchy reaction!!!!
I love your Dollar Tree videos and wait for the new one every month!!!That way I can see everything my local disorganized, poorly stocked, dirty Dollar Tree stores do NOT have in stock--and never will. 😂😂😂 I somehow enjoy seeing what I’m missing out on!!! 🤷♀️
Lately my Dollar tree have been looking neat and full😊❤
@@selenalorenzi You’re lucky!!! I have things from at least three months ago on my running Dollar Tree list to keep an eye out for, but so far NOTHING!!! 🤦♀️🤷♀️🤬🤷♀️🤦♀️
I’m very happy for you both. Regardless of any age difference, you found each other. Be happy. ❤️
FTW.
Deal Guy, thank you for taking time out your day to travel to many different Dollar Trees to make this informative video for us.
10:44 I’m not sure how, but I feel like you missed a perfect chance to make a dad joke out of the brand name _”Ouidad…”_ 🤔😅😅
😮😅😂
How many stores do you visit to do a typical video? Love your work mate!
😮 i have to run for that cereal box! They would be perfect for bulk rice
Great idea!
My thought too!
Too small for me.
That's what I have in mine.
They used to carry them back in the day. They’re good, but not airtight. I’ve found they still get stale after a few weeks.
The Halloween/Fall stuff is there for crafters. In order to get crafts down for August-Oct we need the supplies in June or July.
Be careful with their potholders. If they are made of polyester, don't put a hot pan on them. They will melt. I learned that the hard way.
✌️😜 Always a wide spectrum of items, Thanks Brother 💒😁 God Bless us All 🇺🇸🙏✝️
Amen 🙏
The 6 pak cup holder for sure, pop up laundry baskets, I want to try the washer sheets too, The pencil boxes are great seeing boxes too. Ice tray are adorable, The brush cleaners are great too, I use the stackable drawers for my cake decorating things and sprinkles for my treat. The apple bowls are cute and can be filled with candy, nuts or mints for gifts. I look forward to your News Letters Matt. Great shopping Matt thank you so much. I appreciate you so much..
Happy 4th Donna!
Wish my local $ Tree was as clean, stocked & organized as yours. I really enjoy your multiple presentations. Thank you
You just made my day with your videos! Love it!
