funny how we made it back to pastes when we used pomades to stray away from salon-esque products. but its still nice we can have versions of them that fit our needs better

I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what but this stuff really tugs my hair no matter how little I use, and it leaves white streaks that wont go away completely

I love this stuff. I ordered some as soon as I got the email from O'Doud's updating their products. I was using the clay from Flagship which is sill my favorite clay, but this stuff does better with my hair type texture wise. Great for a shorter style like mine.

Tried this product and I think the hold is lower than medium, unless you use a lot of it. My hair is 4-5 inches at the top and I need to use two finger 'full' scoops to get my hair to survive a 8 hour working day in an air conditioned room.
your hair is way too long. it will obviously hold better with shortert hair. as every product does

Sami Avci they’re about the same buddy. Original O’douds formula was drier, once broken down and how it “develops” in the hair. New formula closer to current Arcadian, with touch more “moisture” that keeps it creamy on breakdown. Arcadian all the while..slightly thicker gave me a touch more volume personally. I really dig both of them, but like to alternate between those 2 and stiff hold mustache waxes..similar hold/style for me if applied ever so sparingly. That’s the key, how u apply..because use even a tad too much or take some off the breakdown and end result will look like shit🌬💩👍🔥

Travis Li i would say NL leans toward the sticky side, closer to arcadian mp than o’douds. O’douds has that tackiness but it has a non-sticky dryness to it which the other 2 don’t. I’ve had more consistent results with o’douds mp>northern lights>arcadian. But when i do achieve the results i’m looking for, i disregard that ranking above, in that they’re all the same once emulsed and in hair..key ingredient being the kaolin and application method of adding smaller dabs. Style of the first dab, then use additional dabs as needed. Usually when i fuck up it’s because i used excess, even if only in slight excess👍

Darren Lim depending on the texture you’re looking for, gg is definitely ‘slicker’ as it doesn’t contain kaolin, but made an awesome topper..so far, but i need to experiment further.
O’douds on other hand, for my style, provides that kind of natural feel...akin to that of unwashed hair for 2-3 days (we’re talking no product in hair..), resulting where natural oil/sebum is built up where hair can be brushed to reveal the natural curl/wave.

I don't get it. I've tried every product on the damn market.. my hair is super fine and no product will hold my hair like yours does without hairspray
Jeremy O'Neal I don’t know if you’ve already tried Silhouette Mousse, my hair is fine too and since I’m using that mousse my hair holds pretty nice without hairspray (I still use hairspray but not too much as I used to do before), gives good volume and huge amount of hold, and you’re still able to manage your hair easily. Hope this works for you, even though I’m one year late

This product gave great hold and look....a bit difficult to get into blow dried hair though. Loved the product until i showered....did not wash out with just water!! Felt like literal paste in my hair... disappointed :(
