Top tier video! do you think that time between uploads can affect the performance of a video? I mean if a lot of time passes between uploads (2 months or more), could it impact in a negative way when te next video is uploaded? Thanks!
Thanks! I have noticed a bit of less immediate engagement when I upload the video after not uploading for a while. However, if the video is good, people like it and things like CTR and Retention are high, TH-cam will find the right audience for you. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it only affects the video performance for the first few hours/days after upload. I'd suggest trying to improve the video performance instead of focusing on video quantity.

So all of my songs from my latest 2 videos (including this one) come from there. Planning to use artlist for the upcoming videos but depending on how many other bangers I find, might switch back to Epidemic.
in my experience the length of the video definitely matters, on my channel i have a 1 minute video with 16k views, and a 4 minute video with 102k views. the 1 minute video and a 4 minute video both have around 20% ctr, but the 4 minute video still has a lower retention rate the length of the video matters because people get more attached to you and the video, making them way more likely to enjoy it and comment something:)
Length of quality video matters. If you have a 1 minute video and a 4 minute video and the quality of the 4 minute video doesn't drop, yes, the 4 minute video will be getting better performance

Hmm, that's quite a broad question. If you have a dead channel, means your subs aren't seeing your videos pop-up because of a lack of interest in your new niche or lack of quality/youtube packaging of your vids. I started a new channel because I noticed a drastic change in video topics wasn't serving my old audience. I also liked the idea of a fresh start which motivated me. Might wanna start a new channel, pick a clear niche to get you started and focus on youtube-packing/making high quality videos. Might help to research/analyse your niche first to find topics that are popular. Usually will help you to gain some first tracking to make videos about topics people are interested in. haha damn, what camera do you use? Would love to upgrade to the FX3 one day but I got an incredible deal on the BMPCC4k a couple weeks back. I also really love the colors from blackmagic cameras.
Maybe it’s better to not use the f1.8 because it’s hard for the autofocus to adjust. I think f2.0 or f2.2 would bring you better results. :) or you could use a focus point that only focused in the middle of the display. :)

Most of 'em came from Epidemic but I used some new ones from Artlist, I slightly prefer Epidemic for sfx but Artlist is almost as good tho!

This video is quite soft, either the focus is on the top of the mic or you're using some kind of ProMist filter.
Yup, focus was on the mic, have to get an external monitor but it's difficult shooting in f1.8. If it nail it, it looks totally awesome tho!
