    Thanks for doing this story. My Spanish friends have told me this a while back but I haven’t had the chance to visit one in NYC yet.

      Either one if not both of these restaurants are great options. Plus there's a few more around the city...few and far between...but they are there! Your taste buds will thank you! 😋

    If you learn about southern chinese cuisine, it uses ingredients that are similar to south American and African cuisines. For example, yucca and malanga(taro) . Yucca probably brought by portuguese traders in the 16th century, but malanga is native to Asia and the pacific Islands. Steamed foods are just like the native Americans would steam their food like tamal.
