  • The 1st design is large and better for shallow wells, refer to "X-Pump". This slimmer design "Tiger Pump" a 2" vacuum nozzle with 3/4" poly as main drain tube and 1/2" poly for air compressor. Soon finish hooking it up to 400' feet of both poly 3/4" & 1/2".
Leave a comment on successfully pulling water out at these dimensions.

Brandon - Really Glad I Found This Video!! I asked you on a couple other videos how to build this...Thank You!!

Aye, not a website I know in depth to build the pump. Watched others and formulated my craftsmanship to build the pump.

When you put flux on the copper joints and fit them together, wipe off the excess flux before heating up your assembled parts. The solder will flow where the flux is. Direct your flame to the parts where the inside pipe is deepest into the fitting. The heat will draw the solder into the joint.

Excellant work brother..I have some doubts and i need to talk about this..Can ypu spend ypur valuable time of 5minutes for me..I can explain

it works, just takes solid amount of time when deeper go. As new discovery, only have roughly 30' feet of water above the pump to pull water. Hard part is having constant compressors running, any 35psi to 55 psi works fine. You will know if have sediment being pulled up by discolor of water. Each time I used Mine, took Me whole month to clean, not easy process, for lowest budget fix. Good luck Brother!

    Hello
    And thanks.
    its all about bubbles ;)
why are you crimping the inside end of the cupper pipe, instead of solder with an end cap. Is it about flow, or just a design descicion?
instead of gorilla tape, can you use normal gaffa tape (live in Denmark)
    Best regards Christian

When design the bubble wand, wanted a touch of anvil ending blacksmith feel. End cap solder should be fine. The gaffa tape, if make a waterproof strong enough design, should be good to go. Enjoy out in Denmark!

Thank you for very fast reply.
My well is only 60 foot deep.
After "tiger clean" I will add 60 liter of 30%HCl acid for removing metal salts stock in filter.
      Thank you for sharing this!

@@christianlarsen6421 Your Welcome, being 60' feet deep, should go real fast to clean water well. 85' feet deep water well had a 10+ year sediment issues and was clean in about 3-4 hours.

Great, can I use this pump for irrigation? The well depth is about 400 meters and the water surface level is about 200 meters. And is it feasible to store air somehow and use it later instead of using compressor dirctly??
    Thanks a lot,

Thinking the 50/50 ratio of water and bore depth, should have a pull up. Key part is create enough bubbles uplift sediment out. That very very deep water well you got there, 400 meters, increase psi slowy upwards and wait 2 minutes per 5 psi increments. From 50+ Psi. This pump is design to help clean sediment out. Looking for water well pump, look for name Submersible Pumps and look for pull head to desire depth. For resident water use, 16gpm for 2-3 open faucet, with Water Well Pressure tank 40/60 PSI ratio cut off switch to pump. Should give balance. All I can relay to my knowledge share.

Depends on if you have a specific yield and line pressure requirement once it reaches the top of the well and enters the line, and if those need to remain constant. You’d also need to consider the fact that you have air in the water now, which will complicate matters further down the line.
Maybe look at using an electrical submersible pump or a positive displacement pump like the Franklin Electric GW series pumps. These can both handle the heads needed to pump the water out the hole and further down the line.

@@johanvanderwalt2772 this not submersible pump, this a pump to remove heavy sediment and clean dirty sediment out of well.

@@XunnyTheSunshineLion I know, I’ve used air lifting to develop boreholes.
I’m just saying a more traditional pump might work better if you want to do irrigation.

@@johanvanderwalt2772 Installed a 3HP Submersible pump with a solid 16gpm from 355', about 3 years ago now. So far system lasted longer than 1st Driller Install of 2 years. This was fresh drill and elder man helped me, his equipment just weighin the days, left bit much tailings. Though He drilled further than charge, I made that air lift to finish cleaning bottom out of 392'. 1st pump had sucked up so much tailings that the whole pump seized and burnt up to clog last moment filling my water filter full of mudd. Depth of this Borehole very deep, just needed the 10+ feet in 6" inch Well Clean. Got a Design to link, please feel free share with all, for the desert areas deal with very sandy sediment fallen in wells, even after like 20 years later.
