Thats some of the best looking raw video footage I've seen in car , very nice.
The stabilization on that forward camera is amazing
Excellent Video.
And one hell of a driver.
Only guys who have been there themselves will be able to fully appreciate the skill required to drive at that speed.
Thank you for posting. Please show more this season.
Regards Harry
Great race!
After learning virtual Nurburgring and doing a super close 5 lap race like this online in a sim I can’t imagine doing in real life for hours and hours - so damn intense!!!
Great battle between the SLS and the R8!
Nothing beats a big Mercedes V8 engine sound in the GT racing world...thanks for this video!
both awesome drivers on this SLS GT3 worth watching till the end. :-)
21:37, sucks for that Porsche, it was running a good battle!
@@blitzy3244 VLN is a multiclass series. running his line and porsche chose wrong side.
21:38 bad luck
23:00 Wow
40:18 fuck chase !
43:35 amazing pit !
1:11:48 sec de uma boa corrida !! hehehehe
+AmxCsifier It's a signal to the Marshals that he has registered the yellow flags / double yellow flags.
To show the cars behind, WE ARE UNDER YELLOW, Slow Down, Don't Pass, BeCareful.
The Audi is amazing, what a battle with the SLS!
The Audi needs to use the brake less although that car has better handling every where on the track.
I think that this just might be the best video on TH-cam.
Best driving lesson ever!
do as you like about the language..... but...
THAT FUCKING MINI... HOLY SHIT....
50:41 that triple chase...damn
Great to be able to watch full length onboard videos... KUDOS!!! these guys are amazing
Love these onboard shots
22:55 brown seat moment
It's not that hard to recover from this, I mean yeah depends on the context but when you are used to the car and feel what's happening in the steering wheel, everybody can react properly with a little countersteering maneuver and controlling the power gently. If you have trained for this type of situation, you instinctively know what to do.
I would've never guessed that a heavy ass benz could move like that!! That's why I find this video most impressive.
Jon Lenin but in his stock version, wich with an automatic gearbox and the luxurious cockpit makes it heavier, but without all of that, is just a beast!
Yes , I was specking the Mercedes suffering at turns parts (specially the slower turns) more than the Porsche and it wasn't.
BTW such a beast of pilot the first one.
Fantastique ! MERCI
ありがとうございます。
こういうのが一番みたかったりする♪
Great racing! I dont know how they remember all of the turns and braking zones.
perfect racing-video, thx for sharing and respect to the drivers!
Best onboard ive seen for a while
Bad mini driver at 21:35 !!!
Great reactions at 23:00 through Kolstertal - Love the shaking of the head afterwards!
Good to see the pit stop @ 43:23
Awesome skills from both drivers...
Thumbs up for HD!
One hell of a driver :D
This is a greatest on-board.
Wow fantastic! Greetings from Canada! Thank you for the HD!
ちゃんと避けてくれた時に手を挙げてお礼を言うの素晴らしいと思った。見てて気持ちがいい
7:50 damn that drop
awesome, this is the way to see a car race
this looks such good fun! Great video!!
god damnit, i just shitted my pants continuously for about 1 hour, 11 minutes and 48 seconds!
Great driving by Lance, bad start falling from 3rd to 6th but climbing back to 3rd. Highlights: 0:17:50 passing the yellow/green Porsche 997; 0:21:30 colossal accident right in front of camara when the white/green Porsche 977 #14 attempts to pass on the left but is cutoff by a red Mini while Arnold tries to pass the Mini on the right but avoids the accident on the left; 0:30:00 Arnold catches up with the leaders helped out by the yellow flag of the former accident; 0:35:05 passes blue/yellow Audi R8 and chases orange/white Porsche 997; 0:43:20 goes into pits
I experienced every turn with her, every overtaking. She read beautifully the track and the track she was to follow. It was very exciting for me. I watched it for 1 hour 11 minutes 48 seconds. Amazing.
Great driving! Love the speed of the Nurburgring at 17:00 and ouch... what a bad move by the mini at 21:30. Great recovery at 22:59 by the way!!! Great race with lots of traffic the whole time like 33:45. I would have crashed a long time ago!!!!
Would love to listen to the communication between driver & crew
amazing video guys,thank u
Bruck's technique going into and out of the turns is just the best.
When he passed the r8, now it's time to go. Love the Green Hell
Increíble sonido....y mejor carrera...
After watching this, it makes me wanna play NFS Shift 2 Unleashed and take my SLS GT3 preped on the Nordshleife! While watching the video, I played the menu music from Shift 2! Exhilarating! Overall, great driving from both drivers especially the first one when he dodged the accident in 21:35. Great video, thank you an keep posting more of these! You've got yourselves a subscriber! This video goes into my favorites!
Absolut geil
dat sound! symphony in my ears
This driver is holding a fantastic line.
amazing how all those different cars are so matched on those races like they had been made by one hand
Are the cars carrying BoP? The orange and white Porsche progresses amazingly fast through the field.
Was bedeutet eigentlich die blaue Flagge =? Ansonten Hammer Video beide Fahrer sind echt Top :)))
Blue flags everywhere.
Mini: "THOU SHALT NOT PASS!!!"
man, multi-class racing is INTENSE. I wish they could run the Carrera Cup cars alongside the GT and V8 Supercar classes here in Oz, that would be pretty insane. And probably expensive considering!
カメラの位置が、右ハンドルの日本車に位置に近いから、運転している気分になれて、いいです。
love the sound gives me a eargasm
Just discovered this channel, love these videos! Couple of quick questions if someone can indulge me.
1. Is this one of those races where the slower cars are on some sort of licensing exam and if they make any contact with the faster cars they are automatically at fault and don't get a 2nd chance?
2. What is the meaning of the red and yellow striped flag seen on the right at 38:41?
1. not really a licensing exam, there are many different classes racing all at the same time like production cars, cup cars and some other. But they are rated seperately in their own ‚division‘. Cant tell you something about the specific contact rules tho. 2. the flag means it‘s slippery there, maybe from oil on the track
26:55 - lol "FANCULO"
Nice! 1 hour in 720p. Perfect video!
lol Lance was shaking his head after the crash at 21:49 :D
20:10 is intense
Super heb hier zelf meerdere malen gereden heerlijk om eens te doen,
heaven!!!
Esto es una fantasía poder ver esto desde la vista de copiloto
gps overlay would be awesome here. very nice video though!
wow.. respect for this man... good driver imo.
THANKS for the video. more of this :D
Such an amazing video...speechless...
Wooow ...amazing, so cool!!
Bruck down shifts way before the apex and is thus feeding power through the turn and comes out of the turns with less lag time and more power down to the road much earlier. He can also drive
dirt circle track with those skills.
great onboard :) thx for upload!
Nice Race!!! I love the Porsche 997 for GT3, but this SLS is pretty good.
0:30:19 hay un video que muestra el incidente: el mini rojo no ve al porsche cuando lo pasa y lo golpea de lateral. venia haciendo buena carrera =(
Why did the guy in the pit, just stand in front of the car , not letting it go ?? Seems like the pit stop was long over ????
Gosh !! I really enjoyed this race!!! :)
Wow great drive !!
The Porsche’s exit speed is fu**en astonishing.
excellent , is that the Nurburgring ?
Where do I sign up? I wanna do this so badly.
Hebat mas bro kagum sama anda walau tadi aga ketigalan sama yang oren karna ini sangat melelahkan semoga berhasil pinis
That noise!!! Bloody awesome
Thanks. Nice video! Congratulations
Correct me if I'm wrong, is this not the best onboard footage of the Nurburgring,
Great video man.
Amazing race. Those slow cars are a real pain in the ass!
Danke, klasse Video!!
I'm new to this. Can someone explain what those slow cars on the track are there for?
just different, slower classes, they all race at the same time. There are about 180 cars on the track in average.
Different Price classes of cars, and if you put everything in one race then you don't have to organize seperate races which costs alot of money !!
17:50 I thought you’re not allowed to pass using pit exit lane?
You are not allowed to cross that line, but only when leaving the pits. This limitation does not apply to those not leaving the pits, that area is part of the track like any other and you can use it to pass.
FANTASTIC!
Porsche number one !!!!
Great! Did they win the race?
Excuse my naivety, but why does he put his hand up when driving past the waved yellows? im kinda new to endurance racing.
In racing, usually it's a signal to cars behind that you're slowing. They may be so close they can't see the flag stands but CAN see your arm up in the rear window.
One of the best battles!!!
Did this track in need for speed shift 2. Fun track. I wanna become a professional motorsports driver but don't know where to start..
Smh the guy in the mini clearly isn't a predictable driver should stay to the right hand side instead of pulling to the Porsche side like that rookie mistake
I agree...that was terrible driver etiquette when your a lap car on the faster cars’ driving line. It was like so many of them ignoring the blue flags 🙄
Don't think the mini saw the Porsche to his left, and was making room for the Mercedes to pass on his right. Only way it makes sense for him to turn left that hard.
Amazing video! However, the fact that i don't see what's behind is generating me a lot of anxiety
23:01 oooooh !!!
thank for this video!!!!
The Mini driver must have been British :) You can see our driver shaking his head at 21:48 or so :)
I've never raced in anything near this calibre, but I have raced to a decent enough level, and that is one of the moments your heart stops beating for a fraction of a second. Initially you see the car over steer and the driver opens the steering out to balance the car, this is one of those moments though where the car will either obey you or you can overdo it and the car will snap in the direction of the correction. Experience is everything but sometimes your life is with lady luck. 10/10
