Haha thanks Kent! I really appreciate your support my friend. There are SO many incredible players out there in so many different styles, there really is no such thing as "the best" in music. You're very kind though! :D
This is amazing The fact that this was pulled of Live is even more shocking Keep up the good work dude 10:26 sounds really good In fact the entire thing sounds great
It was a great day when you checked into Sequential's office and laid down this exquisite tour de force. Thank you for this mind-boggling set of masterful performances!
I'd love to listen to another concert. It's almost been a year already... time flies when you are shut off from the rest of the world. Thanks for helping get us through this.
Glasy, you are so talented man. love seeing more from you! I'm glad you included great fairy fountain, the song that brought me here in the first place back then.
I just discovered your channel... this is insane!!!. I love synth and ambience. Your right hand can be only described as if it had a creative mind of its own, not only you possess super human levels of skill, the creativity that spews out of every neuron from your brain could honestly power its very own genre of music. Your ability to find new sounds, use them and create something completely new out of old is remarkable. do not even let me start on how you are able to perform this live. I saw your Metroid Mother Brain cover, and I couldn't help but to wonder if you really had sold your soul to a evil god to be able to play the drums, the bass, the effects and the melody at the same time. watching your right hand move was almost frightening! You keep doing what you do, there is always ways to make a new spin for something, even if you are already godly at something, I believe you in particular could rise into the ranks of legends, I hope all good comes your way and you'll find success!! :D
Hey Salmiac! Thanks so much for the kind and thoughtful comment my friend - I really appreciate the compliments! So glad you found your way here, welcome to the channel my friend! 🙏
Revisiting this after last year. So much of your music has stuck with me. Nebula B lives in the back of my head: familiar but always exhilarating. Stellar all around.
Gawd, your music is so pleasing. It's awesome to be able to watch you, too....but I still can't comprehend how you're doing this, but please keep it up!
Fortunately (for me) I just discovered you initially by watching a Todd Rundgren/Utopia live performance video. My father was a Juilliard-trained classical pianist, hence I've been following many different pianists and keyboard artists my entire life (I'm sixty five now). My father loved his life's work (performing and teaching private lessons for sixty five years), and he was loved by all of his many students. You are exceptionally talented, and I'm thankful to have discovered you here!
Hi Robert, thanks so much for your kind words, really appreciate it! Your father sounds like he was an awesome musician and teacher! I taught private lessons for 11 years and needed a break, but might get back to it at some point. I do miss the connection with my students. :) Thanks for checking out my stuff!
@@GLASYS It's great to hear back from you, and you are welcome (you deserve the praise!)... My father was an awesome piano teacher, and it was great to encounter hundreds of his former students at his funeral thirteen years ago who showed up out of their love and respect for him. Please keep up the great work, and continue to post here on Facebook!
But luckily it doesn't really matter as Glasys' Like - Dislike ratio is probably among the best of TH-cam. And you shouldn't divide by 0 all the time, otherwise, we could create a black hole here :D
Thank you! It took a little getting used to, but I find it more ergonomic for the wrists when playing in a standing position, and it also lets the audience see what I'm doing in a venue performance
Great work again!! In a previous video, you mentioned that you were going to put a bunch of your loose TH-cam tracks on Spotify sometime soon. Do you know when you're planning to do that yet?
Great performance! I see you're changing the patches while playing, how do you do that, with a pedal, a software...? (And in case, wich one?). I was considering buying the prophet X and I really need that function for the live performance. Thanks!
Thanks Enea! It depends on the tune. Sometimes I simply switch to Part B on the Prophet X, other times I program the sliders or modwheel to morph the sound. In some cases the DAW sends a program change so I don't have to press anything. It's quite flexible
@@GLASYS as someone who cant afford to fill a room with keys like you, what "messing around" board do you recommend, if i may ask. prophet x looks hot but iv been eyeballing that CP88 yamaha for a while now
@@CUBOSH it all depends what sounds and feel you want, the Prophet X and the CP88 and completely different beasts. CP88 is great if you want a quality digital piano. PX is great for crazy sound design that mixes samples and classic synthesis. And of course there are tons of other options. :)
Unwinder sounds like something Return to Forever would make. Great. Fantastic. F##king amazing.
So glad you like it, thanks for listening! :)
RTF and 70s Herbie for sure had an influence on early video game music.
You ought to work with Koji Kondo when Nintendo makes a new Zelda IP.

Damn, you're living my dream man. Jazz nerd, killer chops, crazy synth/mixing knowledge and gaming enthusiast. Such a clean performance!
Thanks dude! For many years I was afraid to combine all my influences into one thing, so it's nice to finally be able to do so :)
