Sawyer's technique is absolutely flawless, can definitely see her doing amazing in a company one day, particularly a British one such as Royal/ENB/BRB where her extremely clean and pure lines would be adored. Also Maya is stunning as usual 😊👌🩰
Sawyer is the quiet hidden gem of the school!
It seems to me like Audrey is really shining in this video even though she's not shown often. She's keeping up with Maya for sure. She's a hard worker clearly. This was one of the best videos that's ever been posted because so much of it just showed the dancers working and practicing and learning. I enjoy the personality of the dancers very much and the videos that are fun and funny. I also like seeing the performances. But this video is without a doubt a beautiful and unique look at what really goes on in the studio. The work. The frustration. The exhaustion. The mistakes. And then doing it again and again. They're all so young to be doing something so well. I doubt it's something they let themselves feel very often but they should feel proud of themselves. Really. There aren't many people that can do anything as well as they are doing what they are doing. Thank you for this video.
So much more of a positive energy now in ballet. I love seeing actual joy being allowed. I am 57 and have seen how damaging it can be in the dance world so seeing a supportive and healthy environment to let these beautiful artists thrive.They have such a short time to do this so thank you for helping them have long term success physically, artistically and emotionally. WELL DONE
Whenever I watch Sawyer I instantly adjust my posture, she’s immaculate.
Maya is, as always, top tier phenomenal and I love that she works so hard to stay in condition when she’s got time off.
I’m assuming she comes home to Arizona to see family? Dancing in Sweden is impressive and spectacularly impressive but her home is the US.
I’m guessing she could stay and dance in Sweden during the off season but this way she can come home, see her people/family and keep herself finely tuned?

Also… I’m just blown away by how the school has literally doubled in the number of students over the last year… (the rooms are bursting at the seams! ) It’s all because of these TH-cam channels that everybody has. That’s amazing.
I also want to say that I am absolutely stunned at the number of boys who are flocking to ballet these days and how good they all are! Please do a spotlight on the new boy students because I want to get to know them all!

Love seeing a whole class uninterrupted. It would be more interesting if we were able to see some of the other students highlighted rather than the same ones over and over.There is nothing more dull than listening to accomplished dancers talking about how “they didn’t do that move well”. Move on to other dancers. Is Sawyer the only boy tat agrees to be filmed? The tall girl in the shorts has beautiful musicality and lines - it would be nice to see her take herself more seriously - but I guess that was just one day..or two.
Random comment but is there no way that pointe shoes can be easier to break in? It seems to be a horribly hard & somewhat destructive business. And making dancers slave away darning the ends too. Can’t they be made like that in the first place?! ❤
As someone who needs a hard shoe, Bloch's simply are not. That shank is soft and pliable compared to Russian's or Nikolay's/Grishko. I sink right to the floor in them. The answer is no, and customizing a pointe shoe is very personal to each dancer's foot, technique, strength and flexibility. We who dance on pointe have a relationship with customizing new shoes. It's a labor of love and all of us go through it. There's simply no way to make shoes so customized to each dancer from a shoe maker. They're made by hand. Darning the ends is way easier for the dancer to do than for a company to try stocking and selling reliably.

melanie’s leg wasn’t that high on the left and her turn out isn’t the best in her grand pile but she wrung looks good
