- Today we are casting our hands using the Luna Bean Keepsake Hands Casting kit. Learn how to make a hand plaster with this cement like mixture. I did one of my grandmothers hand the day she passed at home before they took her, but I wanted to make copies. Is that possible?

Finished 6 castings of my mothers hands. Used a water/Elmer’s glue mixture 1st then painted with acrylic paint. Waiting for them to dry completely before I paint them with a sealer. How long should I wait? Weeks? I also want to label each on the bottom with her name and date. Not sure what kind of pen to use that won’t smear when I paint the sealer over it. They are actually for myself & all my siblings. Our mother is almost 90 & fighting cancer again so we did these before she got bad. Do you have any recommendations for which pen to use? Thanks!
