This dude gets a lot of hate, but we need more people like him, imagine if people never criticized Hasbro in the dark days, it's time for improvement this figures are getting obsolete
I feel like Legends is stepping up, they've started having more new sculpts in waves, they're about to make a new updated Bucky cap and they also said that they're going to release a 'fixed' vintage Spidey.
Cautiously optimistic :D

@@solozeta9092 In an interview, idr which one but they said they're going to release the recent new Spidey but fix it's issues, if you need a Spidey for your shelf the Vintage wave one that they released was relatively okay, but I'd say just wait since they might release a new one soon-ish

Loved House of X & Powers of X and love Cyclops so this is actually the figure I was looking most forward to in this wave.
And ya, it's done well enough that I'm good with how it turned out.
Only complaints are the hindered elbow articulation and the floppy legs.
I noticed when posing him dynamically with the optic blast in that his legs would start to droop in some poses. I actually bought another 1 because I thought it was just my version, but the 2nd one had the same exact problem. I dunno if it's cheap gummy plastic or what, but that part is unfortunate :\
Astonishing X Men Cyclops, I just love the design, it screams superhero and it's HIS design. Though how does his visor stay on his face when he's not wearing the mask? It doesn't cover his ears, it's like a domino mask.
I would like them to navigate away from the Bucky cap. I personally prefer the Retro Spider-man, Lightning Collection, Sony Venom style of Torso articulation plus the double ball neck joint(which I want to see across the board). Pinless arms and legs I need to see more from Hasbro before signing off on that.
My legs for this figure were a bit floppy.

Toss up. 90s animated Cyclops will always be the iconic look for me. On the basis of design alone, I think the x-visored black suit from Bendis's "Uncanny" might stand at the top. Aesthetically and thematically perfect for who Cyke was at the time.

Though I think that the Phoenix Force visor is the best Cyclops visor there has been, the 90's Jim Lee Cyclops is still my all time favorite. I think the 90's X-Men will always be my favorite X-Men era. Such a big difference in proportions when you swapped the heads. Yes, the same joints were loose on my figure plus both the right and left bicep swivels. I've been getting a lot more loose joints from Hasbro in my new Legends and retro figures. For which there is honestly no acceptable excuse. I'm sorry to see what happened to your hand Anthony. At the same time I'm happy to see that it is almost mended completely. Do take care.

I'm surprised you didn't notice the reversed shoulders. 2:34 is a nice close-up of left shoulder. If you compare the sculpting to an older Bucky-Cap, you will find that it is backwards.

@@AnthonysCustoms Unfortunately, it is. Checking other reviews, I have confirmed this is not a one-off error. Also, this has been happening since the Strong Guy wave. I have compiled a list of figures that have this problem. They are Sunspot, Pirate Deadpool, Phage, Cyclops, and Nova. If you get the chance to review the new Nova, hopefully you can address this.
Jim Lee with bomber jacket and robocop phoenix 5 cyclops are my favorite.

Real late to comment here, but Simone Bianchi's redesign of the Astonishing Cyclops costume is my favorite. It's streamlined and slick.
Phoenix Five is my favorite look, too bad that one never released.

this version of cyclops is my favorite i’ve always been familiar with x men but i never picked up a comic until now and i’m really liking the house of x and x force run going on and the whole mutant island thing is cool to me my favorite cyclops suit is probably his old blue and yellow suit not the jim lee one the one before that

Jim Lee style for sure, that for me is definitive Cyclops.
My favorite would be the one from the X-Men Evolution series.
This Cyclops is pretty snazzy design wise.

Always something with a Hasbro figure. Fingers are clearly on left hand meant to be pressing visor. But fellow joints etc don't allow it. Cmon, get these things right.

Jim lee hands down, because every outfit with the skullcap is garbage, especially the krakoa outfit which they went lazy, just used the marvel now! outfit (the red racer X/tron legacy look) and just added gauntlets to it, not a fan.
My hips and thighs came loose as well. I was thinking that maybe the the hip pieces are new since they go out to the splits a lot wider then they have before.

My cyclops foot is totally locked up so I can't move it at all, but it's still one of my favs out of this set. I can't wait for your review of the "They'll buy it for the BAF, screw it" Professor X in this group.
