First gadget sucks, the sticker only repell water if its sprayed on it, so in normal or slow rain it doesn't work, I've had stickers on my side mirrors over a year now, I think that area collects more droplets in mild rain than normal mirror when sticker is old tbh
If anyone is wondering how to do the first one on a budget, buy some plasticy stickers and do the same thing shown in the video. The transparent glue residue prevents the water tension from letting water droplets to settle

put something similar on my beater accord, lasted a couple months in FL heat and rain before it became so foggy you could barely use your mirrors. Absolute hazard. Scraped off and use RAINX instead.
