- Black Point Marina has a canal system called Black Creek Canal. We begin this video on Us1 and about 186 st Sw in Miami,Florida. Derek from @TheFoodBoat joined me on my Achilles 8 foot soft bottom hypalon dinghy.
We make it to Black Point Marina on the dinghy where I film the Chit Show.

My brother and I fished right at these spots on vacation, especially the one spot next to PepBoys for Peacock bass. We caught a bunch. It was so much fun. The canals are amazing for fishing! We went because I saw Monster Mike's videos !

We loved this long video. It was relaxing. We live in Saint Lucie County, north of Miami. We have canals all around us but have never seen one this wide. I didn't even know boats went in the canals. If you want a Amazon river experience, go boating on the Saint Lucie river, it's awesome with a lot of alligators. Indian river is where we took our boats. Lots of crazy boat ramps too!
Only Alfred Montaner can do a windshield tour and forget the windshield. WAAAIT FORRR IT!
FYI if you put the boat in reverse it will spin the weeds off

I'm not Alfred, but those Dams are actually Flood gates. They have them throughout Florida to control Flooding.
Soooooo love the dinghy series. I kayak and love nothing more than exploring small passages too shallow for regular boats.
Now that the boat is running I will have time to focus on my bumper boats.... I SO want to bring a couple to Florida and film a canal tour with them...

I grew up running Jon boats from my friends house on these canals. My friend unfortunately discovered a human body floating in a canal near coral reef park. This was the mid 80s. Despite that, we loved cruising those canals and kneeboarding.

Hi Alfred, don;t know if you can still get them but year ago you could get lens sheilds which slid over the end of the lens and added a tube of between 2 and 4 inches of extra length to protect from the elements even the sun
This is great, my house is located at this canal.
They make a cone shaped cover that fits over the propeller to make it weedless. We use them on our motors here

Yo Alfred, read in the news last week that Florida is thinking about / has a bounty on iguanas now because they are so prevalent and there is too much poop too!
and easy to catch them, make a few traps, you would have quite a few, end of day! maybe even more then a doz.?

Alfred, could you put your expensive camera in one of those cases that scuba divers use to film underwater. I don't know if they are cost prohibitive or if they would negatively affect the quality of your picture. If it did work you wouldn't have to worry about as much about running an expensive camera. I love all of your videos and watch them all and like them all with a thumbs up. Bill H

@@AlfredMontaner could ask some of those like with 15K lens, and foind out what they do to keep them dry, and they cannot get out of the weather, like in venues like football games where they play in any type of weather, good luck.

I've never met an alligator that didn't want to avoid me. It takes unusual circumstances. Unrealistic fear mongering is why so many people up north think they are aggressive and to be feared.

When I was a teen My friends and I used to go swimming in many of those canals near black point. Now the crocks and gators keep the kids from swimming anywhere. Too bad.

they added way too many locks on the canal man. ive always wanted to take that canal out to the glades, but they added multiple locks out past 118th 😪 but that canal goes all the way up the everglades and all the way down to card sound. but all the locks will stop ya sadly. maybe its the only thing stopping the flooding lol but man itd sure be nice to have that ocean access for people. i used to fish that turnpike canal all the time when i lived around there.
Who knows, another twenty years all that may be under water?

Technology does exist, it is called a lock, just need the depth so boats can traverse.

I really hope u get a clean up crew to get all that trash. makes me sick seein all that in our marine environment. I know most of its probly from the storm but alot is not. People just toss shit everywhere. My jagoff neighbors just throw shit outta their truck on the driveway and it blows into my yard. Yelled at em multiple times. We gotta do better as humans. This is just so sad...
