I wish the amazing players in some of our communities would get more appreciation than they recieve. It's like whenever I see the amazing abilities of mad matt when he plays ITG, I feel like the whole world needs to see this stuff. People outside of our community just wouldn't appreciate the sheer dedication and skill needed to accomplish these inhumane feats. I feel like video gaming as a medium needs to be more respected. This comes from a 35-year old guy who has been gaming is whole life.
What I find amusing is that if anyone accomplishes anything amazing in video gaming, you have all these people that say "it's just a game". Video gaming is a breeding ground for amazing accomplishments if the game allows for it. Not every genre can be called "challenging". Games like beatmania are quite rare in the video gaming industry. Now-a-days it's too easy to cheat your way to victory. Music games are that rare exception to this phenomena.
They are the same kind, Rhythm game. It's just much, much more difficult and complex, and suitable for people who are passionate about impossible challenges. Sorry for my bad english.
I don't think that being an anime fan would automatically qualify you for playing these games. Komami's bemani series outside of DDR as always been for enthusiasts. As is most certainly IIDX and pop'n music. Most americans don't have the mindset needed to enjoy these games.
@abbytion That's bullshit. I think if anything it has to do with the majority of Americans music sensibilities aren't found in beatmania. Various Techno and J-Pop, the majority of beatmania, is not what most US peeps are exposed to/like. That's why guitar hero did good; because it had something familiar (rock) with -well known- artists. Thats also why GH failed, they ran out of songs everyone liked. If that was all beatmania had, it would do much better. But then it would suck, so its all good.
I heard that identical music had been played in seconds before DOLCE started.
Himiko? FUCK THAT SHIT! PABST BLUE RIBBON!
...eheuheuheuheuheuheuhuehueheuehuehuhe
神(DOLCE) vs 神(卑弥呼) って感じに見える。
yup of course like all beatmania games all the unlocks are on the cs
Dolce, once again you amaze me!!! Amazing job on such a difficult song. 5 Star Performance!!!

Sorry for my bad english.
It does, and it's not that many more notes than the [A] chart because it's nearing the human limit lol.
Pabst blue ribbon? FUCK THAT SHIT! HIMIKO!
beatmaniaよりこの卑弥呼自体に興味が湧いた。
Himiko KURO confirmed for IIDX 16 CS >:
it's implied because lisu was famous for playing one handed, not for being the best player
I guess a better comparison would be the new AGO9 or SILV?
yea i am pretty sure
Yes, it's been AAAd by a non-Japanese player as well.
