You are amazing!! You need to help me!!! I’m having my THIRD REVISION at the age of 43. My femoral head collapsed and he broke my femur pounding the stem in. He still gave me a generic hip instead of dual mobility. He changed it to dual mobility but did not change the damaged cup from being dislocated 3 times. Now the cup is broken and I’ve got to have surgery AGAIN, I am terrified and they have left me to wait 5 weeks in the couch. I want to scream. I’m a nurse runner yoga teacher pole dancer and he said I’ll be lucky to walk. I had to report him and I’m terrified. He broke my femur and I woke up!!! I’m an operating room nurse. I asked for the dual mobility. Second time now I have the head but the poly cup was damaged during the dislocations. Now he has to put some metal spacers in and he won’t admit he did anything wrong. He won’t answer my questions and told me if I’m not happy u can go somewhere else.
@fuckogf WOW I feel terrible for you!! I'm facing my first hip replacement and heard about the dual mobility implement. My understanding is that it it better suited for patients like me that have a back fusion and also a left SI joint fusion. I was a cop for nearly 30 years, played and coached volleyball and I love to cycle and do yoga. I'm hoping that my surgeon agrees that I'm a good candidate for the dual mobility. I hope you're finally healing well! ❤️
Hey no I’m not doing better still no surgery my surgeon ditched me and hasn’t talked to me since Feb 6 and now I have a bone infection and need to have everything removed and live without a hip for ? Long and maybe bone grafts muscle who knows.. debriding of all the dead tissue and then a bowel procedure now from being on so much opioids that it made a hole in my bladder and then after that have a fourth hip surgery putting a new implant in and cement and screws and just hopefully I don’t ever need another surgery lol oh ya and then get off opioids and I have no benefits to pay for physio etc I’m considering just driving into the river but I hope yours goes well.

Nice topic and nice presentation sir…
nice presentation. would dual mobility hip reduce dislocation in EDS III, benign joint hypermobility?
thank u, great video!
