Build your credit. Do not buy things. Just use credit as an equivalent to debit so you can build that history. Hell even with my credit cards i use them and pay before i get any interest
That's fine, but what Willie and Vlad were speaking on is not even remotely practical for the average REGULAR working person/family. Not very many people can pay cash for a house and the whole concept of not going into debt for a home but settling with renting for 15-30 or more years is just stupid to say and shows how out of touch even the most down to earth upper income/wealthy folks think (Willie D). It makes a hell of a lot more sense to pay a mortgage than it does to pay rent for regular folks because at some point you will have some equity in that home that you can leverage for other things (college, home repairs, investment, opportunities, etc.). They are speaking from the view of people who are wealthy and have the means to invest in properties while owning a home that they were able to pay cash for.

One thing I felt from the geto boys was they were never bonded if you ask me listen to the story of how they met up Willie Wanted to be a Solo Artist from the very beginning and so did ScarFace from what I heard with Bushwick just down for anything but Jay Prince kinda making them be a group for the money.

Same thing with buying a house, not rental property, you make your investment work for you. The neighborhood I live in house were around $115,000 after 08' crash. They are now around $250,000 during covid-19. My previous very next door neighbor bought their house for $105,000 in 2010, they sold last year for $239,000. I know at least 3 others that walked away with $80,000+. I've seen 20+ homes sell in my area, these homes are considered starter homes, the homes only sit an average of 45 days in my area. You have to do the research in the area you plan on purchasing in. As it stands Real Estate is still a good investment.
