Nice, Erv. The plants seem to be very generous giving a huge product from a few leaves. I've been showing viewers my courgettes which have HUGE leaves (at least the greenhouse ones are) and will be supplying who knows how many little courgettes of perhaps 6 or 7". I happily told viewers I would need to get a male flower opening so I could fertilise the female one. But still no male flowers and today the courgettes are forming nicely - maybe pick one tomorrow or so. I am beginning to wonder if courgettes don't need pollination to set fruit. Did you have to pollinate your watermelon?.
I,m haveing a go at growing water melon for the first time this season. Wish me luck!!!
Good luck Patsy!

I have lots of bees. They pollinate for me. I believe one of my neighbors down the street is a beekeeper, so I'm fortunate.
Beautiful watermelon. What kind is it?
This is a jubilee watermelon
@@ErvsGarden thank you
