With this being said, A10s never go anywhere without proper escort from dedicated dogfighters like the F15 or F18. So it is highly unlikely the A10s would ever get into a dogfight. Regardless, it is nice to know that the ground pounder's favorite CAS plane can defend itself in a pinch.
