Is anyone confused by the rabbit ears at the beginning? That's because Sonic was originally gonna be a rabbit who pick things up with his ears and throw it at enemys. But the creators thought it would be too hard to animate, so they moved on to Sonic either being a armadillo, or a hedgehog. (The answer to that one was obvious.) Also, Sonic was gonna have fangs, play in a rock band, and have a human girlfriend!but, SEGA thought it would be inappropriate for kids. So they got rid of that idea

This is nice, but why do I feel like this is a little off-sync? Is that just me? I know this is good, but there should be a better transition for the Fake Amy Trailer to the Official Mania Plus Trailer. (After Amy tried, she walked away crying because she didn't make it. Meanwhile... Sonic is still (-_-) until Mighty and Ray come along...)
Benedict Cedric Benedict Cedric Yeah, I didn't really know how to transition from Amy Rose to Mighty & Ray, so I thought I'd do something funny, to maybe cheer people up. I love your idea, but Amy walking away crying would require different animation entirely, which means it wouldn't fit the animation style that well. Instead, I could've let Sonic stay with that expression (😑) with the elevator closed, and then show Mighty opening the elevator, and move on from there. But, the final product was what I thought of at the time, & I didn't expect this video to go viral at all. But, I appreciate you putting feedback, as it does help me improve as a TH-camr. Also, I don't think the video is off-sync to me.
The Giver Of Mario & Sonic So Amy walking and crying doesn't fit... Now I think that she could have been "erased" for this time. Or, the elevator would have been stuck. A few seconds in and the Sonic Mania Plus trailer.

That's a good question! Maybe it's because that Sonic would have to let someone join his team if he feels good about it. In Mighty's case, Sonic was happy to see him again, so he decided to shake hands with Sonic, so that he could become an actual playable character, rather than being a sketched idea that's left behind. On the other hand with Amy Rose, Sonic was having none of her business joining his party. So, she can't go with Sonic, because he didn't shake hands with her, leaving her to be "a sketched idea that's left behind."
