Oklahoma’s stadium was originally called Oklahoma Memorial Stadium to honor those who died in World War I. The field is named Owen Field after legendary coach Bennie Owen. The “Gaylord Family” prefix was added in 2003 when the Gaylord family (owners of the Oklahoman newspaper and TV station) made the principal donation for the east side suites and upper deck. Most people use Owen Field and Memorial Stadium interchangeably to refer to the stadium.
They don’t play the red river rivalry at Texas’s home stadium. But hell ya dope video
Cotton Bowl in Dallas during the State Fair - Still an informative effort.
I grew up across the river from Neyland stadium. You can hear the cannon from so far away. It always gets everyone who isn't watching the game the first time Tennessee scores. Everyone jumps 😂.
Dude where did you get your info for Oklahoma?? The memorial in the name has nothing to do with the Oklahoma City bombing🤦🏾♂️
LET'S GOOOO!

For Mizzou It's pronounced fa-row field, not fa-rot.
Davis-Wade was originally Scott Field, named for Don Scott, Miss State's first Olympian in 1920.
@28:40 A&M so much pride, so little success...
Good video! Would have been good to mention some of the stadium nicknames, facts like Texas&Arkansas are the only turf fields and any other unique pageantry facts like the Tennessee checkerboard or the cemetery that adjoins the Alabama stadium.
Yay, Fun!
Razorback stadium's official capacity is 76,000. However, it can get to closer to 78,000 (particularly now that both end zones are closed and there is additional seating at a restaurant/bar type thing called Big Red's). Anyway, this was a cool video.
Best conference in the nation.
Arkansas stadium seats around 76.000 not 72.000
Needs to do more research lol..........On almost every stadium.
It's pronounced "Jur-dan" Hare
I think A&M might have the worst stadium in the sec…
Maybe worst campus, although theyve got some competition there. But you cant in good faith say Tamu has one of the worst stadiums when its got the size and attendance it does.
What?! 😂 They have one of the best stadiums in the SEC. Not to mention the most capacity. Their field is boring.
You did a great job! Thank you so much for doing this. I've enjoyed looking at arenas & stadiums since I was a teen in the 80's.
