I am glad you liked the charts. The DMC chart came with the drills already on it. I found both on Aliexpress. I can send you the links but they come up by searching for Diamond Drill Chart. I have been using my DMC chart for figuring out the codes for drills for a year now and it is super easy to use. The rhinestone charts I couldn't quite see what the codes were so I just took a chance. Sorry that they don't have the true rhinestone code.
Those charts were super cool. I'm sure Joan will get a lot of use out of them. I love the blingy-ness of the rhinestones all together like that too. So shiny... I think people that like shiny DP things were probably actually magpies in a former life... lol...
@@Melbell76 Hmm, the link replies are not sticking. On Aliexpress look up Diamond Drill Chart to find them. I forgot to send the links to Joan when I sent the gift. I sent them to her today so she can put them up in the description of another future video.
What super treasures to be gifted! I'm thinking a couple of those charts are for hot fix fabric and/or nail art rhinestones- all super awesome to have. I would steal them away from you for my POC, lol! I'm going to have to hunt for some of my own now! I absolutely love that diamond painting you pulled out to test the pen on, lol. Where'd you buy it? I learned how to cut mats when I was in high school for my art class. But we did not have that gizmo, lol. We used exact-o blades. Getting that angle was definitely a challenge. Our teacher also used to go to Michael's and get their mat scraps (teacher got them for free) for the class to use. That is also a super wonderful gift! Super happy mail! Lol
@@selenew1242 They are just rhinestones with adhesive on the back that you use like a hot-fix heater handheld tool and it melts the adhesive to make it stick to shoes, fabrics, etc. But they can be used as special drills just using regular glue or double-sided tape.
I hope your POC project is going well! I added the link the diamond painting to the description. I never learned mat cutting in high school but that is probably because I took sculpture. I can't draw or paint so it was either sculpture or photography for me.
I would use that pen for special shaped diamonds. Might work really well. Love the video! Good luck with the matting. Can't wait to see the results. :)
Yes... It works great for special shaped diamonds from my experience with it. I never use mine on regular drills or on a full drill DP. I love cutting my own mats. It's actually fun. At least, it is for me. Gives a DP such a crisper, more professional look.
Its actually not too difficult to use the mat cutter. Just read the instructions. It does cut a beveled edge. It is much easier when you purchase the board to lock in your measurements. The mat boards are a very nice gift. Those are not cheap. Thank you so much for sharing!
I usually just put new wax over the old wax. The single placer pen has a hole where the excess wax moves into the barrel of the pen. If it get too full of wax, I just get a new pen tip. I clean out the multiplacers when adding new wax over the old wax does not last long anymore.

I think I remember hot fix on the listing for the rhinestone charts. I wasn't sure what it meant.

That is good to know! I just need to get brave enough to try the mat cutting. Thanks for watching!
How often do you clean your dp 🖊
