Listen carefully to him from 3:00 to 6:00 while he is explaining how Azerbaijan's music and culture was much better in his childhood, even better than Persian's culture and music !!! No wonder why he is one of the best !!! He is Turk as most of best singers and actors in IRAN !! !!
Another pan-Turk? He says he listened to the music on radio Baku, and mentions opera. Baku was at that time a Soviet city and multi-ethnic, many whose ancestor was born in Baku was not of Azeri ethnicity. And of course he will remember his childhood music as the best. Don't we all? Regarding the comments you put here as a whole they are rather childish. All of them very clearly deals with Iranian music in farsi. Some like Sattar I can't even find a credible source to your claim, and many like Aref are at most half Azeri. But you seem to subscribe to the deeply troubling notion of pan-turkism or Nazi ideology of superior blood which is a shame (and ironic when the true 'history' of the 'blood' is so very different than the pan-turks believe.)
why lila frouhar compare herself with Aref?..... yes she was part of that movie and got famous because of Aref....... Aref is a legend. she is not even come close
