I was diagnosed with testicular cancer when I was 18 and that completely opened up the world of urology to me and seeing you talk about residency is so exciting. Interesting thoughts... I agree with your comments about leading the team. When I was a resident training in Cleveland (back in the late 80s/early 90s), I always said I was a better intern than a senior resident. I found that the day-to-day "things" that was expected from an intern was more comfortable than leading rounds, teaching residents and medical students as well as keeping up on my reading and studying for my in-service exams as well as my boards. It's been fun watching you grow and develop as a urologist and physician over the years. Be well! And enjoy the ride!
