Honestly, there are so many great shoes being produced by all of the big names!! We are so lucky to be running in these times! I don’t run in any NB does right now, but I know that they have lots of options that would work well for me. It’s hard to go too wrong.
Good idea. The 1080v13 is wildly soft and did feel a bit unstable. I didn’t like that I had a few “reminders” of that. Could be my biomechanics also. Otherwise, if the goal is simply running without thinking it’s good for that. With that said and knowing what I know about the v5. I’ll stick with the more v5. Feel better all around with that shoe. And lastly, 165$ is steep for the 13. Oh yes- things are prime for a comparison vid. That’ll happen soon enough. 👍
Interesting 🤔 if the more v4 worked well with you then the v5 should work too. Of course there’s sales for the v4 This is my first 1080 and now I’m planning on following the line. I want to see how the company navigates this over soft foam for the 14. We shall see 👍
@@LuisRamos-qw1gj I figured companies are off. But I believe they include the insert and where the foot lies in relation to the ground. I did get some measuring tools and will be checking in the future
You’re running way too much on the ball of your foot. It irritates me seeing people run like this they focus too much on the catch instead of the push off
Agreed I went from jogging in Nike Pegasus 40s to the NB 1080v13 and they just felt so comfy while running had no problems with them at all the comfort and stability was there.
Absolutely. Great tip that went from the Peg to the 1080. This is my first go round with the 1080 it’s rather plush to the point of feeling a tad bit unstable on certain scenarios. Not a deal breaker. It’s a nice easy going shoe that doesn’t need a whole lot. I like a shoe that I can forget about and let my mind wander during the run 😀

Well said it’s definitely a great time to be a runner
Let's go! Love the colorway
Lemon lime. Perfect for summer
I had been wearing the More v4 by the time the 1080v13 came out. With the v5 coming out, I might just stick with the More line for my recovery runs.

@@RunningDadAdventures I look forward to the comparison. 👍

This is a near perfect shoes for me... comfort, feel, fit (1/2 size up) except for the unstability/supination when running and even walking!
Agreed. It’s REALLY SOFT. I had the same problem as I supinate and felt a tad bit unsafe at a few points. Also, to expensive
@@RunningDadAdventures For added info, I had 1080v11 and More v4 which worked excellently for me (both in 10.5)..

34,1/28,1mm, shoe cut in half, against the stack height the Brand claims!

@@nyashnader1 it’s how my foot lands. We’re all different. I try to consider all foot and gait types with shoe reviews

Is it softer than the More V5?
It feels softer than the v5 plus the geometry makes it feel too soft and and a bit unstable
